Aside from maybe Roberts and Sundin, Clark and Gilmour are the only two marquee players this franchise has seen in the last 25 years who have shown a winning spirit and had the talent to provide success.

The avatar has a dual meaning. To show that as good as they were, they weren't quite good enough and thus, the future should be planned much more carefully to see that the next time around, the team succeeds where it has failed in the past.
