you are nuts if u think lu is worth that much... he has a terrible contract and he has to be moved... the cards are in the teams interested favor not the nucks. the lightning will give malone and MAYBE the 2nd/3rd they have from fla but id say even a 4th. theyd still save a million bucks getting malone back and he could actually be good in their lineup. no way we give up malone AND a 1st for him. nor will any team be giving up some top prospect either. his stock is at an all time low right now.

I think Nucks fans need to let go of the proposition that they will get ANY value in return for Bobby's contract. The best you can hope for is that no one hands you a stinker contract in exchange. Maaaaaaybe we'd offer you Frolik and Rusty Olesz.

I'd add Tampa as a possibility as well. But let's face it - cap space is the first and most important condition to a trade.

And don't forget - Tallon is not shy about spending - so don't count Florida out.

I doubt 1 of those supposed leaf fans knew he was playing injured (shoulder) for the past 2 months of this season also, but yea he'd a 49 point no body that no one in the league would ever want...oh and he has to have surgery on his shoulder...yea that doesn't and would never affect a guys performance and my source on kesler being injured for that long is kesler himself, he admitted it soon after the season ended...keep thinking he wont regain form leafs fans

Has it been confirmed that Lu asked for a trade? Pretty sure that was just Kypreos making sh!t up again. Gillis went on the radio afterwards and said it was false. No list has been given, Lu hasn't asked for a trade, and they were all going to take some time to simmer down and think rationally about the whole situation.
