From the overhead angle it looked like JVR deflected that puck. Either way, if JVR is going to play like that, we have a lot more hockey to look forward to.

Kind of surprised to see Voracek has 9 points in the playoffs so far.

Pretty quiet 9 points outside of the OT winner in game one in PIT. He has the puck a lot though. Wins a ton of battles. Pleasantly surprised by how gritty he is.

I'm not. With his limited ice time, albeit he plays in a lot of situations, he's been tremendous. His speed, stick-handling and vision are first rate. The TSN guys were cooing over him all game. Look back at the Pittsburgh series - there were a ton of times where Voracek was just dominant on the ice flying around setting up plays and cruising around making the Penguins players start watching instead of playing.

Agreed. He had the primary assist on Danny's OT winner.

His plays on the PP have been dazzling all playoffs long.

He's had some great assists. Orpik is still trying to get up and find the puck

I would have liked to hear Bryz say, he was angry at himself for that game going to OT

I am not sure who I would rather have bringing the puck up the ice on a power play..Claude or Jake... He just has so much speed, power and control...

Just pinching myself again..Voracek and Couturier for Carter..

You can tell Kovy is injured, he really can't move. I thought the forecheck just wore out the Devils d-men, the Flyers just wore them out as the game went along. Brodeur kept them in the game, but I think the forwards are just going to swarm the Devil's d-men all series.

JVR had a ton of speed and he was driving the net like he was possessed today. If he keeps that up, he'll be tough to contain.

yeah, me too ... though I'm not sure he even understands the questions sometimes, so it's no surprise he didn't.

I think he was a little lucky on that one.

So, I am not anything close to being an optimist, but I have to say, I was surprised how the Flyers just dominated after the rust wore off. If the Devils don't step it up, I say Flyers in 5.

Never at the new arena. Over at the Meadowlands I went to a few playoff games when they played the Flyers, you could almost sit anywhere you wanted in the upper bowl...Entire sections empty.

his legs are always moving through the neutral zone. can always count on him to skate with the puck full bore and get it into the O-zone, esp on PP

probably the most relieved by this win is Bryz after that 3rd goal ...

and the 2nd most relieved has to be Simmonds for missing that open net.
