well, all in all that was a decent period. The Flyers are getting their legs back, they scored 2 goals, and if not for an iffy call they'd still have the lead.

If the Flyers play the 3rd the way they played the 2nd they should get the win.

Bryzgalov is truly fantastic handling the puck. Stellar.

It's 2-2. Bryzgalov has played a strong game. He's the biggest reason why the Flyers are in this game. Do you see anything positive in the game?

Im a bit worried....the devils righted themselves at the end of that period. JVR's looking real good.

It's game 1. This is not going to be an easy Series. They Devils are an underrated team. The Flyers have not played their best and the game is 2-2.

I've only noticed G a couple of times. The Devils are doing a great job so far.

I thought Lilja has been a pleasant surprise this playpffs. Big, physical and solid. Not at all the pylon we feared.

I like the moxie of Gus and he is a good passer. I would like to see him at the point instead of Carle on the pp.

Devils dominated the 1st as the Flyers were sleepwalking ... the Flyers bounced back with a much better effort in the 2nd, and capitalized on a couple of NJ mistakes.

Should be interesting to see how the 3rd plays out. Probably more cautious than the first 2 periods.

Gustafsson is no where near the passer that Carle is. I think that would be a mistake.

Agree on Lilja. But then I knew he was a solid addition from day 1.

The Flyers came out slow and rusty (There's something crazy, huh?? ), and the Debs were all over them. Bryz kept it 1-0 after the first, but the Flyers started playing a little better in the final 7ish minutes.

The second was all Flyers, until a phantom hooking call killed the momentum and the Debs righted the ship in the later stages of the 2nd.

And here we are at the puck drop.
