But I found it odd that he said the Leafs should have thrown an offersheet at the Lightning, because even if they matched a ridiculously high number, they now wouldn't have room to get Luongo and that it would better for Toronto. Then again, I'm not sure I even read it right, but I think that's what he was getting at.
