I think PK has a very good shot at making Sochi. His play the second half of the season showed a drastic 360 change. Cunnyworth has put his stamp on PK, and Markov has been a godsend for him and is teaching him how to be a great puckmoving offensive defenseman who can be very reliable. He was plus nine for the year, and he was minus 5 at one point around the allstar break. his antics will decrease, he will still get picked on by Leafs and Bruins fans, but in Sochi and this tournament where you need skilled, fast, great skating defence, PK will deliver, Duncan Keith will also mentor him in the dressing room, that was a great addition to help younger d players. People forget that PK has a ton of heart, which is what the red and white stand for!

Yeah, tell us all about the almighty Avstin's monster year in the AHL. Surely he lit it up of course?

Or maybe they didn't want to make the mistake they did when PG was annointed? We have to trust that the people in charge will actually make the right decision and that starts with interviewing as many peopel as possible to make sure they get the right candidate.
