You know who was not as good as Plekanec at his age? Plekanec.

How about you actually see the games instead of the stats. And if you reference my vagina one more time, I'll rip off a 6 monther.

aren't we, as fans, supposed to have higher expectations for our prospects, of the first round, mind you?

why not a plekanec type player? granted not as fast, but with the same hockey IQ and overall game

- Traceur

I'm all for getting as much talent in the first round as possible... and I'm sure they're going with who they think will end up being the better player.

This being said, I'm happy if we end up drafting a solid 3rd liner and not another David Fischer....

It's not like ALL first round picks end up in the NHL either.

I did not, I played tennis yesterday. But the impact was so major, I felt it on the court.

You know who did not have an impact yesterday? Leblanc.

Usually two. But I'm nursing a left shoulder injury so I had to one hand it yesterday.

Leblanc wouldn't look half bad with Gaborik and Richards either.

my guess is becasue he's probably not as good.

I'd really, really like him to turn into a Sidney Crosby type player.

Leblanc + Eller + Moen-type guy could work.
- Pecafan Fan

Maybe, but Bork will be on the 3rd line with Eller.

Maybe I' blinded by his last name and think he should be somewhat more talented than any other stay at home defenseman.

Maybe.

But I wouldn't like to see Leblanc play Plekanec's minutes next season.

Unless you really want to draft Mackinnon next summer.

- Pecafan Fan

I wouldn't mind drafting that kid, but of course not, Plekanec took time making is way up the depth chart, for a long time nobody thought he would become anything more than a 3rd line center

You should practice yours. So when we finally meet we can have those great debates in two languages at the time. In counterpart I'll try to learn Yiddish.
