I'm sure he was everything Leblanc could never dream of being.
- Fredobface

Who the (frank) cares about Leblanc? I don't give a poop where Leblanc is at this point. I hope he becomes the 50 goal scorer you people want him to become.
Kreider being as good as he is at this point, has nothing to do with Leblanc.

He's no Kreider, who by the way had a major impact last night. Played of 17 minutes. And he earned those minutes.

Yes, I can see him being a very effective 3rd liner.

It may sound bad, but you actually need quality guys on your 3rd line.

Wrong.

They share a common talent pool.

Whoever is better automatically makes the other worse.

Leblanc + Eller + Moen-type guy could work.

I did not, I played tennis yesterday. But the impact was so major, I felt it on the court.

You know who did not have an impact yesterday? Leblanc.

aren't we, as fans, supposed to have higher expectations for our prospects, of the first round, mind you?

why not a plekanec type player? granted not as fast, but with the same hockey IQ and overall game

my guess is becasue he's probably not as good.

I'd really, really like him to turn into a Sidney Crosby type player.

Maybe.

But I wouldn't like to see Leblanc play Plekanec's minutes next season.

Unless you really want to draft Mackinnon next summer.
