I could see him banning himself somehow.

He would be the most trigger happy mod for sure, the way he reacts to trolls.

I think if I was a player going into my exit interview asking for a trade with a no trade clause I would list of teams laminated before hand. Every player knows where they would be willing to play and Florida/Canada are familiar to him. From the interviews he gave the list probably has 25 names on it and the oilers are probably one of the 25.

You just need to make sure you are not on Columbus or Calgary (just kidding about the last one). But you would be worried about a Nash for him straight across deal. I would be if I were him. Without Nash they go into a rebuild that is behind oilers in terms of bearing fruit. That makes it a shooting gallery and that is how a goalie ends his career (use any of NYI's goalies as an example).

He won't be traded to Edmonton because apparently I am the only one that thinks Dubnyk is a career backup. There is a deal that could be done but division trades are rare. They are two teams that could easily trade together though.

Unless toronto offers everything this isn't going to be their next goalie. Vancouver thinks they need another top 6 forward and Toronto is still looking for their first one.

I do see Chicago being a trading partner. Luongo's value being what it is, I could see Chicago unloading seabrook. Chicago likes seabrook but their blog suggests that they don't like him 5.8 mil worth. Maybe Luongo for Seabrook and emery.

That will replace salo leaving vancouver and free up some money to get their forward.

However this again is not likely.

Most likely Luongo will not be solved by a straight across deal. Rather a package of players that can fill secondary roles. The top being a 3/4 dman to replace salo and then some prospects. Vancouver doesn't have any of those.
