rick or they get tired of players taking runs at them and the hawks have no response

i dont mind kane at center as long as his wings can skate and have bickell size
toews also needs a big wing that can protect

problem is i still dont think stan can admit that his choice of skilled small players doesnt work in this nhl

we also need two big mean defenseman
olsen unless he gets faster is a sixth defenseman at best

Size thru the roster is a huge issue with this team. Bickell and Stalberg are the only 2 guys with any and they aren't exactly road graders. Team gets pushed around physically in every building they go into unless that team wants to play a game of shinny that night.

And promoting kids to the NHL before they are ready is also an issue. I'm not prepared to write Olsen off as a 6th defenceman - the kid is 20, didn't have the conditioning required of an NHL'er and he needs to learn his craft in the AHL under good coaching for another year or 2. But I guarantee you he is #4's replacement next season because he's making $900K and Oduya probably gets Hammer's money.

Kruger's another kid with some ability but is being rushed. I got nothing against Leddy but Phoenix pushed him around every game and when you watch Campbell play for Florida you really see the difference between an experienced, developed player and a raw kid learning the ropes on the back end.

You guys will be back. Too much front end talent. Give role players like Shaw another season to develop and add in a couple good free agency acquisitions and you should be top 4 in the west next season.

I wish the NHL would change their mind and make the winter classic Chicago vs Vancouver. 24/7 would be amazing, far more entertaining than Toronto and Detroit.

Best rivalry in professional hockey right now. Will only be better once we trade you Luongo for some prospects

any of you see Kop blow-up his own team mate...Madden?

Madden has the puck moving up center ice and Kop for some reason turns right into him. Madden never saw it coming!

Holy $hit !! That was a collision...

Sort of reminded me during the finals when Carcillo went after Kop and he leveled Carter instead.

I was looking forward to congratulating Dale, Soupy, Kop, Steeger and Maddog on getting to the 2nd round but it didn't happen. At least they played a game-and-a-half more than the 'Hawks.

Two teams out in the first round - doesn't help the rivalry.

To us, yes. But a bigger picture take (no pun in regards to the Big House) says this decision is the right one for the league. It should have been done however 1-2 years ago already. The league also missed out doing a Rangers game at "the semi-old" Yankee Stadium too.

I didn't mention anything about a blowup about to happen but I did write today about Q. being in a no lose position.

How about when Tazer ran into Kaner and knocked out a few of 88's chiclets.

“Yeah, playing center obviously you’re down low more, so I want to get stronger there. But it doesn’t change much,” Kane said. “The biggest thing for me is, I’m healthy going into this offseason. There are no problems; I’m going right in and working on my body. Last summer I had surgery (on my wrist) and other problems. Now I’m excited about just being healthy.”

That is an encouraging prospect. And pretty much what you want to hear. Anyone else counting down? 5 months till pre-season haha.
