Careful now, I have a feeling Tampa is near the top of the list in the Lu sweeps.

Maybe they trade Luongo, Volpatti, and a draft pick for Malone, Connolly, and another draft pick? Not really sure how big Tampa is on Connolly, but he played well for team Canada and could develop into a decent 2nd line winger.

If Roberto Luongo goes to Toronto, I will literally spend the entire summer laughing my ass off. Besides the fact that he has one of the worst contracts in NHL history, he's a choker in the playoffs and extremely overrated in the regular season. I've never seen him ever stand on his head the way I've seen Lundqvist, Miller, Quick and Thomas stand on their heads. If Toronto honestly thinks Luongo will solve their goaltending issues, they're sadly mistaken. If they really wanna make a trade with the Canucks, they should look into Kesler.

I think the point of the post was to show all the insane proposals Canucks fans will come up in the next couple of month and then all the other fans proposals aquiring Luongo for a bag of pucks. I think the reality is, the trade will fall somewhere in the middle.

Luongo is a great goalie, but I don't want him in Toronto. His world championships, his olympic gold medal, and his career stats speak for itself. The Canucks fans just shattered his passion for that team, which was tremendous at one point.
