Those are interesting options in his contract. he has moved up his request option to this season so basically 2 years early but he has to supply the team with a list of 5 teams. that's not giving the Nucks many options to work with. So basically the teams we are thinking may not be on the list. if the team doesn't trade him by 2018 the team loses it's option of requesting a trade list. challenge what 5 teams does everyone think is on his list?

Those are 5 teams he would not be traded to... NYI and not NYR would make sense I guess, the rest have starting goalies, jersey is possible though.

Their other stuff hasn't really done it for me. Beerfest was ok but just ok and Club Dread was like, Scary Movie level stupidly bad. I think they caught lightning in a bottle with that one.

Maybe, not you Whipper. But over the past 3 years, up against Chicago, and Boston, it was fans of other teams that constantly slammed Loungo, calling him 7uongo, and a ton of choking names, pumping tire jokes and nasty posts. Even when he was team Canada's goalie, he never received any (or very lillte) credit from fans outside of Vancouver.

So, as a Canucks fan, that has to read the posts from numerous people (who once trashed him) now saying how he is a true gentleman, and its the Canucks fans that are screwing him is quite funny. Many of us supported him through all that crap, and now we are the ones that are to blame for the situation the Canucks are in.

I don't care if the Leafs fans who once trashed him are now putting proposals to get him, just find it amusing as hell.

I like Luongo, I think he can be and is a great goalie in this league.
