Look at those numbers before you spew crap about Luongo not being able to carry your team or win anything. What did you want him to do, go all the way out and score on Timmy? Truth of the matter is, your offense disappears when palyoffs come and no matter what Luongo does, you still can't win games if you don't score. Your core players sucked up front, both lines. And tell me what has your Sneider done to be called great goaltender? Last time I checked he wasn't the one who made Vancouver a force to reckon with in the last 4-5 years. Nor was he the one that took you to one win a way from a cup and your offense and defense did the disappearing act. Sometimes you need to appreciate people that make your franchise relevant and you will come to rue the day when you go back to medicore team once Luongo is gone. Fix your defense, fix your offense then look at your goalie. Don't blame one player for your team's failures that has a lot to do with your offense and defense and a coach who can't utilise his players properly.

Lou has been a class act through all of this.

he is still a great goalie, the contract isnt that bad only a cap hit of 5.3mil and when he is 38 years old and cant preform he will retire or you cant put him in the AHL. a team well geat a good goalie here and it wont take a whole lot to get him!

People are forgetting that there's two outs over the next 5 years. Lu option and then the teams option.
