3rd party trade proposal for a fair trade:

Leafs trade Schenn 2013 first and a conditional second if leafs make the playoffs for Lu. Whatcha think?

- mrhattrick27

Pass .. no more picks traded that will end up being a lottery pick

Honestly, I don't want Lou...but I would probably take that deal. I love Schenn, but that's a REALLY good deal. I honestly think it might be a bit low to be able to get Lou.
- Domaju

really... that could end up being 2 lottery picks for him?

The leafs should never ever again trade a 1st round pick that they do not know what position it is

All I know is if Lou gos to TO. Their is no question they are in the playoffs next year.

Just watch out for October and Easly November. His starts are god awful.

But he works out of them.

They aren't getting a first for Lou, at least not from the Leafs. They will get a salary dumped back on them. Gillis will be on his knees begging Burke to take Lou.

The leads should trade for luongo I wouldn't do the 5 th pick but maybe a trade of komisarek and a 2nd plus a goalie prospect may be worth it.

I don't know, that really doesn't seem like much for Lou. And regardless of who's in net, I'll be very shocked if we're in a lottery pick position again. We shouldn't have been this year. We fell apart at the end, but with better defensive coaching, I don't think that'll happen. Whether we make the playoffs of not I don't know. But I don't see us in a lottery pick again next year. If so, there will be a lot of hell to pay.

But how many of those were on an absolutely HORRENDOUS Florida team lol. Even his numbers in Florida were REALLY good

If he was 26 and not 33 with a 10 year 50 million contract you are right

prepare to be shocked again...

Lou will be cheaper than that don't worry, and as long as this team has Connolly, Armstrong, Lombardi and even Kulemin on the roster, Lottery pick is possible.

and he will be better on the playoff less leafs...

Luongo's numbers on the #1 team rank him around 13th in almost all categories...

Let TB overpay

Fair enough. But he likely won't be playing out his entire contract. I don't want Luongo, but I think Schenn a 1st and conditional 2nd isn't that much for him. If we can get him for less, sweet...if it's more...no thanks.

No worries man. I'm just complaining cause I can. At least I'm not conversing with myself again like that one time lol.

Things are good. Getting ready for a big movie marathon tomorrow with some friends: Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America as we lead up to the Avengers next weekend which we're going to Moncton to see.

How's things with you?

- Domaju

Only a conditional 2nd lol

And I honestly think that Vancouver will end up getting more than that in the end anyway...which I wouldn't be willing to give up

I hope you're right. But there are teams that could use a goalie like Luongo desperately. TB, FLA, CHI, Columbus (what's their abbreviation?). I know TB and FLA would have a tough time affording the contract. Also, Detroit could use him with the inconsistency of Howard.

Chicago just blew it because of cap problems, Columbus can't afford him, maybe not Tampa or Florida either

Yeah I know people won't like it, but he has value to someone and could be moved. He's last on the list though which means it doesn't really matter if he stays or goes.

Lou still makes the 5 team list, which means if he picks 4 teams that can't or won't take him, Leafs(if even on it) would be pretty well it.
