Mario has 49 SHG to Bossy's 8. Nothing says goal scorer quite like doing it a man down. And if we are splitting hairs, then I am giving the benefit of the doubt to Lemieux for style points. People tackling Mario still couldnt stop him, hence the statue looking like it does. And lets be honest, Lemieux could have benefited nicely if he started his career in 1980 and not 1984 with the goaltending situation like it was back then.

I think if you poll the defensemen who played against both (Lemieux and Bossy) who they would rather have coming down on them 1 on 1, you'll find your answer there.
