man, the Patriots drafted well this round.. not good. - Flynox
ehh.... That defense is still miles away from being something to worry about. I personally thought they were going to trade up for Barron or Claiborne for a minute, that wouldve sucked |

I disagree.... we need as many guys who can cover as possible, Welker, Gronk, Hernandez, and Lloyd will all be on the field at the same time |

They had the easiest playoff games maybe ever to get there...Tim Tebow, and a Lee Evans/Missed 32 yrd Field goal and they would not have been there |

Its not that the dude isn't talented. They invested a high first rounder and high first round money and a position that the NFL hates and will penalize at every turn. |

They probably tried to trade down, but that 10 spot was probably the worst place to be in, he was BPA there, atleast to them. Im fine with it, next year Florence, Mcgee, and Mckelvin are all gone |

Rookie wage scale, will not cost that much much to sign him. |

Agreed, we now have two big corners that are not afraid to play physical. The bills will have a top 10 secondary for years to come, Williams and Gilmore is going to be awesome to watch! |

That would have been true of any player taken at that spot. The NFL hates DB's. Once the ball is air born the offense automatically wins. Why invest 10th overall pick on that when you could get the same results in the 4th round? I'm hoping it works well but lets face it, who here is going to order thier Gilmore jersey tommorow? Furethermore who really beleives this guy will be a star, a probowler and will have anything to do with us getting into the playoffs? |

We need to make sure Byrd doesnt leave in FA, I have a feeling with a good pash rush he is a bonafide pro bowl player. |

Gilmore was by far the most talented player available when we picked.
And for all your db hate you seem to forgot how big of an impact good defensive backs have, especially in a pass heavy league.
It was a great pick, this draft is deep at wr and no ol was worth the 10 pick. |

Wide receivers are a dime a dozen, I'm amazed at all the hate over this pick.
Cb was the weakest position on this years draft, and like I said, he was clearly the best player available when we picked, regardless if it filled a need or not (and I think it did).
Also, 434points against last year. Anyone thinking defense shouldn't still be a first priority...
Only the bucs and Vikings allowed more points. It's hard to win if the opposing team can put up that kind of damage. |

I like this covert jab at me, nice.
Its only a pass happy league because the league is officiating the games totally different that they have in the past.
You guys are serisouly drinking the Kool-aid. I'm assuming you guys are all ordering your Gilmore jerseys right? The sewn one, not the cheap printed ones. |

I dunno how you twisted that statement into a jab. I'm not ordering a jersey for the same reason I still don't want to get a Myers jersey.
one question in your post, which I assumed wasn't serious. The other I thought I answered when I said "he was the most talented player available"
In my opinion hell make a Bigger impact then the alternatives. I don't think you'll get the same thing in the fourth round. I feel that way about wide receiver, but not db, especially not in this years draft. It was extremely strong at wr and weak at db.
Drinking the kool aid? I don't even have to pretend that jab was covert. |

The WR picks aren't even that great; Blackmon & Floyd were the best of a mediocre lot.
Randle, Jeffrey, Hill & Sanu all available at end of day when some had Hill and Randle going in 1st round.

Exactly. Floyd wasn't a steal at tenth, he would have been barely worth it. Offensive line can be picked in later rounds, as can wr, especially on this draft. A lot of average to above average wr talent, with little risk of waiting to the second round. |

Buddy nix also said C.J. spiller was "the best player available". Then last year when he finally started performing on the field late last year he wasn't given consistent carries when people thought he should have. Nix's answer to that was "well he's not an every down kinda of guy". So the best player available at number 9 cant even handle starter playing time?
Aaron Williams and Gilmore combined has proven absolutley nothing in the NFL yet. How anyone could think we have a top secondary based these two is completely unfounded. |

It's a survey-
It's one guy's marginally knowledgeable opinion vs another's
