For the most part they were in control but if they're going to sit back in a game 7 situation, they might as well pack it in. Especially against the defending Cup champs.

I was going to add something like this but I think that plays right into Boston's hands. He tries to do to much, turns it over and the bs rush up ice and score.

Essentially it means to pass the puck to the man ahead of you or in other words advancing the puck forward.
