I think this game is key no matter who we end up playing. Yes we could face off against the Panthers but most importantly we don't square off against the Rangers at all. I could really care less of who comes out of the Devils/Panthers series though.

In fact, this series cancels out both the Bruins and Rangers if the Caps win. That's what's important to me. We'll see though

Same goes for the Ottawa-NY series though. If the former won, it would cancel out the Bruins or Rags next round.

Obviously I hope both lose, but every team presents their challenges and we should fear everyone.

Correct it has major implications on the flyers. So long as the rangers aren't in the field. All you need to do is look at the pens/flyers series to know that matchup problems are real

Right. Obviously I'd like the Rangers to get knocked off but should the Caps win tonight, we don't have to worry about the Rangers in the next round either way. It's not just the Rangers I'm worried about, it's the Bruins too. Anyone else, I think our chances are strong and I'm speaking for the East and the West. A lot of people seem to like the Kings but they've been inconsistent all season. I feel Blues and Preds are much tougher teams but I also feel the Flyers are better then both of them. They'd just have to get past their goalies.
