I don't know I think I have to side with Bodiva on this MB. Track and Field are sports, they require athletic ability, same with golf.

Maybe you can make the case they don't involve direct competition with the opposition, that they are a different category of athletic sports that is fine, but they should still fall under the category of sports.

Have you ever played before?? Its a lot harder than it may seem... And yes a 50 year old can play, but 99% of 50 year olds will come no where close to matching the flexibility and swing speed of a 21 year old. There is a clear advantage to being a younger golf. It also requires you to be more fit than you think. Even at my age and fitness, I'd say the first 2 rounds of the year leave me quite sore and I'm 21.

Bowling on the other hand, I would agree that that's not a sport. I am a pretty avid bowler too but in no way do I consider that a sport.
