We have so many great Canadian hockey players we can afford to export.

Also, you Americans would be even more boring if we didn't export our Comedians and musicians. I betcha couldn't live without Nickelback!

To be called a sport you need defense. Anything else is an "event" or a "game".

How do Tickets for playoff games work? Like for example, if the Flyers sweep and tam and you have tickets for games 5, 6 and 7. Then What?
- roenick97

If you have a full playoff strip, you have tickets for home game 1, home game 2, home game 3, home game 4 for each series. The Flyers charge you for the games actually played. So although we paid for the first 4 games already, one wasn't here. So for round 2 they'll wait and either charge us for 3 more (if they are home team) or charge for 2 more (if they are away) plus the difference between the fourth first round ticket and a second round ticket.

If you bought a ticket from the flyers for a single game that wasn't played, you'd get a refund less a handling fee.

If you bought a ticket from a ticket broker for a single game that wasn't played, whether you got a refund or not would depend on the small print. So buyer beware.

If you bought a ticket from a friend for a game that wasn't played, you would hopefully get a refund, but then, maybe he's not such a good friend.

Norm McDonald has to be Canadian...

Yup he is... Funniest Canadian EVER!

So athletic endeavors like track & field are not sports? I think defense is necessary to a GAME but not to a SPORT.

The problem here is that you somehow believe that it diminishes the things you mention. Track And Field are events. Golf is a game. Does not mean they are any less difficult or any less respectable.
