Yes he has. Great name World Peace for someone who just did this...

Edit: Metta World Malkin would be more appropriate.

That's why I was asking...

Just saw the headline "WorldPeace suspended for vicious elbow"

What a guy.

The fact these announcers cater to this clown and call him WorldPeace is an embarrassment. If he legally changed his name to Haywood Jablowme would they call him that on the air?

That's what blew me away. I read the article thinking they would say "formerly Ron Artest" or something and they didn't.

To answer your question, yes they probably would.

I couldn't sit through a basketball game, if I had enough beer I could make it through a baseball game.

This is even worse. He's making a mockery out of it. Hey I'm responsible for enciting the biggest riot in NBA history, I think I will call myself WorldPeace now.

And these (frank)sticks like Breen, and VanGundy call him it. Absolute joke.

I like college basketball, but I'm even getting turned of to it, every kid is covered in ink, and they stay one year in college, it's all a scam. All the tops schools cheat to get players etc...

Do you ever listen to Jim Rome?

If so have you ever heard the audio clip of his interview with Ron Ron where he recollects playing streetball and one of his thug friends stabbed another player with a table leg and killed him. Good ole' streetball on the playground...

Why do people keep wanting to take the Harts-G-Jagr line apart? I don't get that at all. It has been productive all season long. No way I mess with that. JVR gets 3rd line time until the quality of his game consistently demands 2nd line time, at which point maybe, maybe (depending on how things are clinking with the Briere line...and even if JVR gets hot, I am strongly inclined not to mess with things when Briere is being productive) you tinker with moving Simmonds or Schenn off the Briere line. They put up like 25 goals in round one. Why mess with forward lines until the situation absolutely demands changes. JVR is a big boy. As long as he has a defined team role for the stanley cup playoffs, he ought to be just fine.

I agree. Doesn't make any sense. But I do know why some suggest it. The only change they should keep is what they did in game 6. Switching Simmonds and Voracek.

That was good.

Rome was a tool back then, still kind of is but that interview was pure gold.

Baseball is like golf. it is fun, relaxing, and about once or twice and hour, it could maybe be interesting. The NBA is just annoying to watch. Maybe the :30 seconds of a game that is within 3 points is moderatly interesting. Maybe. None of them are 1/1,000th as exciting as playoff hockey on tv, and when comapring them to being at a playoff game, well, there is no comparison.
