He got lucky because his cancer was pretty much curable with a pill. Lupul's injury was blood infection. Believe it or not, Lupul probably had a tougher road back.

Doesn't matter though, it's obviously going to Max.

Back surgery and a blood infection. But it wasn't nearly as publicized as what happened to Max Pacioretty. He's the "favorite" for the Masterton.

The Hamilton Bulldogs and the Binghamton Senators both won Calder Cups. It's nice for the farm team to win it but Calder Cups don't exactly turn into Stanley Cups. Still a lot of work to do.

Plus, Nonis runs the Marlies, not Burke.

Hamilton Bulldogs went to the conference finals last season. It's never a guarantee of success.
