lol well time will tell, def. a chance of going with reimer and scrivens! oh god!

i hope we get someone to help reimer out.

- big_dion

It's not like Vokoun's coming here, He may very well end up signing in TB for all we know.

And Harding would very well end up a Hawk.

Any goalie we pickup will have to be via Trade

Grabovski - 150th overall - 5th rounder
Macarthur - 74th overall - 3rd rounder
2nd rounder - by definition, 2nd rounder

but yes I agree with you, no point trading it... Especially considering the 1st in next year's draft

- mfreedman

lol did you really just say when they were drafted? 5 years ago?

so i guess Datsyuk, Zetterberg are worth 5th and 7th rounders too? lol cmon dude wake up!!!

Grabovski is worth a 1st +
Mac is worth a 1st
2nd rounder for the leafs will most likely be pick 33 overall (close to a first)
Kadri is a first rounder
+ first round pick next year will most likely be top 5 lol

im speaking from the brain, not the heart.

Frattin beast Kadri out for the spot. Not to say Kadri didn't look sharp in a few callups, but if he does stay with the Leafs it's best he gets big minutes with guys who he'll need to be familiar with in the future.

As for respect, I can't imagine a guy trying to break into the league would develop a chip on his shoulder over a coach who simply didn't have room for him. I hope attitude wasn't a problem because Carlyle doesn't approach those issues with the sarcasm of Ron.

- AngryWhiteMale

Perhaps, I'm not sure what it was. But Kadri doesn't seem to listen to the "don't do those Junior moves" by simply being told. Why? I don't know.

I think Kadri can still get big minutes on the 3rd line if they use him on the PP as well

I think we can all drop the Luongo to the Leafs talk. Burke is our GM and he would never take a contract like that on, he despises them, especially Luongos it's brutal 5.7m cap hit for 10 years (frank) that.
- yea-ok-buddy

Nonis will push this.
Like I said in one post, Vokoun's probably on his way to TB via UFA

Harding will get decent moeny from the Hawks.

The only way we get help in net is through a trade, and Luongo wouldn't cost us a whole lot(as opposed to say, Kipper)

Mac isn't worth a 1st.

He's worth a 2nd. Yes, he's a decent finisher, but a 1st, no

Kadri's a first

*Burke Signs Parise, Suter, Trades up to get Nail, moves out Komi, Connolly, Lombo, and Army, BUT sticks with reimer and Scrivens as our starters*

Dead Island was fun at first. But running from point A to B and back then A to C and back, and so on and so forth got sooooooooooooo boring.

The *only* reason Frattin beat out Kadri for that role was pretty evident...atleast I thought! We needed a third liner who could be defensively responsible while providing some grit and could finish checks. Frattin makes for a good third liner....Kadri, not so much.

was probley by a team who was top 5 and burke figured he would keep mac.

either way, example: if detroit will trade their 1st rounder for Quincy, i def. could see a team offering a late first for MAC.

get him to coach!!!!!!

seriously.. there is defensive coaches, goaltending coaches, forward coaching, when what this team needs is a "heart coach"

basically if you dont play your balls off tucker gets to kick your ass in the dressing room

I thought that also...But Burke may make some moves he previously stayed away from.. His choices are get a goalie like Luongo or admit he failed and start another proper rebuild...

Thats a much different question, what they are wort vs when they were taken...

A 1st isn't even necessarily that good, depending on where it is in the draft.

Would I trade 6 1st rounders for Luongo? Absolutely if they were all between 25-30th overall.. No chance if they wre all top 20 picks...

Also, would I rather have Grabovski or a 1st rounder? Again, depends where they are...

People really overrate picks imo..

I actually believe the key to success int he draft is the sheer number of picks. Witht he top 5 pick, I would trade it down for say the 8th overall and the 15th.. then trade the 8th for the 12th anf the 19th, etc...

The more picks you have the better shot you have of drafting a starr....

And yes, I am well aware that the last sentence has nothing to do with your post
