I don't know if he respected Ron Wilson to be honest with you. Maybe he will have some more respect for Carlyle? I don't know. It's just speculation. We'll have to see. These playoffs will be a big thing for him. I agree that the AHL won't do much for him. I didn't think him going to the AHL this season AT ALL was a good idea. I wanted him on our 3rd line all season to learn some NHL defensive responsibilities because his tricks still work at the AHL level so he still does them. He needs to learn the hard way that they won't work in the NHL

Frattin beast Kadri out for the spot. Not to say Kadri didn't look sharp in a few callups, but if he does stay with the Leafs it's best he gets big minutes with guys who he'll need to be familiar with in the future.

As for respect, I can't imagine a guy trying to break into the league would develop a chip on his shoulder over a coach who simply didn't have room for him. I hope attitude wasn't a problem because Carlyle doesn't approach those issues with the sarcasm of Ron.

If we could get Kesler coming back the other way along with Luongo I'd offer up:

Grabs
Mac
Kadri
2013 first
2012 2nd

Oh, and a salary dump, one of Komi, Lombo or Connolly
Not to say I think Kesler is on the block or anything, as he was injured n ear the end of the season, but I wonder how long it takes for VAN fans to turn on him

- AngryWhiteMale

that scares me to death

I dont think we can afford to even be mentioning a 1st round pick.. unless it lottery protected.

that just looks like to much..and not realistic

Yeah, standard. Just some basic elevations along with dimensioning. Nothing tough once you've done it a couple times
- AngryWhiteMale

nice nice.. so its a 2d exam then i gather.. those are easy so long as you have the time.. its trying to dimension in iso when it gets confusing

anyways, good luck

Having a guy like Luongo in net, and a guy like Kesler at centre would pretty much protect that pick.

If we got it simply protected from being 1st overall I could understand, but it's not that scary to dish out our first next year if the guys coming back are insurance in themselves.

Plus, if we could somehow turn Reimer and our 5th into the 2nd overall, and get a nice blue-chipper in the system, it would make trading next year's first much easier to swallow

everything's good. Been busy.

I went to the Rogers Video here and apparently ALL Rogers video's in canada are no longer going to be selling games and movies so they had a big liquidation. I got Batman: Arkham City & Dead Island for the Xbox 360 along with The Kings Speech and Captain America both on bluray for $56

I should note they were all pre-viewed/played but still

- Domaju

pre-viewed/played dont bother me at all so long as they work so nice score!

i've played both those games.. dead island is a fun one if you're looking to kill time.. not the most intense storyline tho

Yeah I made this name along time ago like right after I joined HB. I got banned because i went into the Rangers Blog and said they should change the name from the NY Rangers to the NY Whiners and use the as the teams logo.
- Bruinsfan9329

yeah.. you deserved what you got then

hopefully it was worth it

Dead Island was fun at first. But running from point A to B and back then A to C and back, and so on and so forth got sooooooooooooo boring.

swapping Kessler for Grabo does not really do much... the production is similar...one might bring more physical play.. But both being on the leafs you are going to get 50 points from them.

Luongo does not guarantee anything also... he was on bad teams for a long time...

You are getting into Kessel trade territory when you talk like that....its a bomb waiting to explode in our face, and in Toronto..the rule seems be be that if it can go wrong it will

Grabovski - 150th overall - 5th rounder
Macarthur - 74th overall - 3rd rounder
2nd rounder - by definition, 2nd rounder

but yes I agree with you, no point trading it... Especially considering the 1st in next year's draft

When I think of how many points we lost because we had Gusti in net as opposed to a guy like Luongo I think it's safe to think the pick wouldn't be first.

Hell, remember the NJ goal gusti allowed in OT. I think that was the real turning point of our season

The only words exchanged between Vancouver and Toronto should be:

Can we have Luongo for cheap?

I think we can all drop the Luongo to the Leafs talk. Burke is our GM and he would never take a contract like that on, he despises them, especially Luongos it's brutal 5.7m cap hit for 10 years (frank) that.

Im all for being patient and not doing crazy things just to get the into the playoffs (possibly Luongo)....but Reimer needs a mentor or someone who can step in as the starter so he works his butt off to try and take over in a few years.
