sorry, it'll be Michael Barkann
- Crimsoninja

And all he would talk about in the broadcast is how bad Bryz sucks.

Barkann is horrible. Clearly, he follows the tools on the morning radio show and thinks creating a controversy (or trying to) is good for his tv/radio shows.

I would be ok if Barkann would take a long, long walk of a very, very short pier.

Every team's offense in the playoffs is below 3 goals a game except for the Flyers and Pens. Do you think the Flyers are going to continue to score at the average they did agains the Pens against the other teams? Are the Flyers going to put up 2 8 goal games against those other teams? What your seeing in those other Series is normal playoff Hockey. Which the Flyers/Pens series wasn't the norm. There's going to be more 3-2 games, then 8-5 or 10-3 games.
- MJL

Surely they won't, but Bryzgalov won't have an .871 save % and a 3.89 GAA against the teams remaining in the East who are all struggling to find offense, and if he does it will be a very short series regardless of opponent.

Jackson is insufferable. I can't listen to him with his dumb cliches. Time for the Flyers to get a new PBP guy. 17 years is plenty long enough.
- PLindbergh31

He is such a homer and whiner. Jonesy brings nothing. Clement is so much better.

Ottawa and Washington have star laden defensive systems.
- PLindbergh31

Ok. If you say so. Washington was 21st in goals against per game... and Ottawa was 24th... So it makes so much sense why they are holding 3rd and 11th best scoring team to just 2 goals a game... And the reason is the Rangers and Boston offense is struggling. If the Flyers get to play either of these teams, I'm not as concerned as I would be if I'm facing Lundquist or Thomas.

I'm all for Thorne and Clement. I know it will never happen, but it would be nice. Mr. Buzzcut I'm sure disagrees, I'm sure he enjoys Thorne on MASN calling 90 Orioles losses a year.

If the Flyers get Ottawa, Washington, or the Panthers I would be willing to bet they will be putting up between 3-6 goals per game instead of the 0-4 Boston and Rangers have been doing.

It was a joke Sir. Anderson and Holtby have matched Lundqvist, and Thomas and often outplayed them. That's the reason why the Bruins, and Rags find themselves in game 7's.

This.

I don't think the Flyers will score 8 goals in back to back games again, but to compare weak offensive teams to the Flyers is missing the mark. The Flyers were at least 50% of the equation in why Fleury looked so bad, and to not give them any credit is lame.

And they were firing around 60% on the PP as well...but I guess that's not because the Flyers are good, it's because of how bad the Pens were.

Got it.

The Rangers are in a game 7 because for much of the series they played tentatively and not the way they played during the season. Last night they seemed to have righted the ship. We'll see what happens under pressure Thursday night. (And two nights off here is ridiculous).

It's a regular season award, so even though Holmgren made fantastic trades, Flyers went from 107 points last season, to 103 points this year. The GM's up for the award generally are from teams who improve in the Standings from the previous season. I do not necessarily agree with that, but that's the way it works.

They got lucky when the refs changed the momentum on the game with that dive by Staal and horrible call on falieno(sp) to give NYR a 5-on-3....
