When the NJ/FLA series started so late, you just knew it was going to go 7 games.

Long layoffs haven't necessarily been the Flyers' strong point the last few seasons. This time is gonna be different with Giroux firing everybody up.

But from a healing standpoint, yes, they'll help.

hey, with all these game 7's does anyone know when the Flyers might play game 1? Can it still be Saturday?

I'm trying to surreptitiously schedule time with the g/f, but also not miss a moment of Flyers hockey.

Did the the PA guy in NJ exhort the fans to cheer after the winning goal?

I thought they said tonight during the Devils game the west games start Friday.
So the east on the weekend?
I'm hoping for Sunday.

I just want at least one lower seed to win their series. We will probably have to play the Rags at some point, but I'd sure like them to be beaten up a bit more before it happens.

Maybe you could watch it together? She'd be a keeper. Reminds me of another story....bear with me ladies and gentlemen

My dad brought my mom to a Phillies game as their first "real" date many moons ago. Dad was getting them both a beer, and wasn't paying attention (in fact, he was paying the vendor ) The crowd erupted with noise, and Dad turned to Mom and said, "What the hell just happened??"

Mom confidently and without batting an eye said, "The pitcher balked."

Dad looked at her skeptically, thinking yeah ok right. Let's not try to impress me too hard...he balked...riiiiiight....

Then the big screen at the Vet flashed up:

BALK BALK BALK

Dad was like AIGHT SHE'S A KEEPER

As for me, I'm trying to schedule study time for finals

It would be great beating the Rangers in the playoffs, but I would be perfectly happy for the Sens to beat them.

good story.

My g/f is definitely a keeper ... and she'd definitely watch the game with me. It's just, well ... she'd RATHER do something else.

So, basically I'm trying to do something else with her, AND not miss any hockey.

I'd rather they be nursing their wounds watching the 2nd round, but it's out of my hands. Ottawa just has to get the lead and make the Rangers stretch out their offense.

I liked Nickelback's first album, which was alt rock-y. Then they became oddly pop and not in a good way. But I saw them with Puddle of Mud and 12 Stones opening for 3 Doors Down and thought they were incredibly unprofessional in concert.
- bodiva88

I was indifferent about their early work, it wasn't until they became the most popular band in ever that I became annoyed. They feel more like a product to be sold than even simple minded audio art.

Then again, I'm no proper judge of all music. I'm nostalgic for an age that never existed (and if it did, it ended right when I was born), a time of nothing but guitars and glorious locks of rock.

My counterpart actually made the effort to become a fan of the Flyers. Not 'learn to tolerate it', not 'watches them so we do what she wants next time', she outright started following the game and team. It's something flattering, but then it's hard not to love this team

As good as 24/7 was, the focus on Giroux, especially unequipped during his concussion injury was the death of me.
