Thing you have to understand about Flyer fans is only our goalies give up bad goals.

Thomas always seems to be clutch in the most important games. Boston's defense is always solid. They do need to get more from their forwards if they want to keep on playing into the next round. Should be a good game tomorrow night. I give the advantage to Boston cause they will be on home ice and the Caps always choke.

I'm hoping this trend continues Wednesday night

I dont agree about Ottawa. I think Anderson has played great, but NY is really struggling to score. They arent getting traffic in front of the net... Just not cutting it. Ottawa's defense and goaltending will come back to earth and show why they were 24th in the league in goals against a game when the Flyers go to play them...
- RooNosHockey

Again, it doesn't matter what Ottawa was in the regular Season. It matters what they are now. And the Rangers are struggling to score mostly due to Anderson's play in net. I hope your right if the Flyers play Ottawa that Anderson isn't as sharp. Because if he is, it will be a tough series.

By the way, playoff Hockey tends to be 5 on 5 Hockey. The Flyers scored 168 5 on 5 goals during the regular Season. Ottawa scored 166.

If the Flyers play the Rangers, and I was Coach, I try and shut down Gaborik, Callahan and Richards, and let my 2-3 other scoring lines out score the Rangers secondary scoring... But the defense is ket against thier top line/s.
- RooNosHockey

Try to shut down the Rangers top offensive players. That's an interesting strategy. I hope Laviolette thinks of that.

Sounds about right. If the league wasn't so hell bent on seeing the Flyers succeed we might be preparing for game 7 right now.

If Bryzgalov doesn't make that glove save on Letang, yea we'd be seeing a game 7

That is true also. But in a lot of cases in the playoffs, PP's go down. That is the point.

I choose to look at it as a can't lose situation for me, although I still take the Bruins side in those match ups.
