So I took a look of the Michalek video, and I didn't see anything. Am I just missing it? |

That's whats so maddening. They don't call Prust for the late hard hit on Karlson(which they shouldn't in a perfect world), but call Rupp for a very weak rough that led to the 1st goal. - B2B76
The Kuba penalty was pretty weak too and that led to the 2 man advantage so we took advantage to even it up, the call that was really missed was the trip on Neil when he took out Richards legs, what are they watching? |

You can't see with the broadcast replay, but the NHL should be able to get all the video from the network, you do see Girardi react like he was kicked and he threw his hands up. |

There is hardly ever a series where that is not the case. At the end of the day, I think most of these guys just get over it, and realize that what went down in the series is just playoff hockey. - Pete V
I don't remember who it was who said it this weekend, but one of the guys said it's hard to go through the line even if you win because you look at the other guy and think, "that could have been me." |

The Dad in that commercial reminds me of Robert DeNiro. That place is like 1/2 a mile from where I am right now. |

Somehow I don't believe that. I think most of the winners go through that line thinking something along the lines of "yeh, motha *&8!" |

No Surprise here
Chris Botta @ChrisBottaNHL Close
Milan Michalek has been cleared for whatever he did to Girardi. No hearing. #NYR #NHL
Wonder if the Rangers will ever be involved in a legitimate hockey decision ever again.
Now to the Henrik ban for cursing! |

I've watched this video seemingly 100 times and I cannot see where this kick is. Every other thing that occurred, the skewer, the kick by Neil I see but Michalek skates in and is tackled by Girardi and then Girardi gets up... I dont see where Michalek kicked anyone. If I hadn't heard about the kick, I wouldn't have even looked but I honestly still can't see it.
Is there a video that someone can post and say at the 0:16 mark, you clearly see the kick? |

No you can't but you do see Girardi react to something and the network has to have all video recorded regardless of what is edited for the broadcast, I want to see that video but knowing the NHL we'll never see it. I have no faith in Shanny to do what's right and all his videos and precedent that he spews out is meaningless, with him it's a case by case screw up.
There is 1 set of rules for the regular season and 1 set for the playoffs apparently |

Not crying just wondering if an accusation of this circumstance has any validity and if so how previous suspensions weigh in |

Finally had time at work to get it. 13 second mark, watch Girardi's left thigh get kicked by Michalek who is kicking out as he lays on the ground with his left foot. (plus article)

EDIT: Not saying it should be a suspension but this is the best shot we got. |

I guess, for me anyways, that unless there is some sort of video evidence that shows the action, its hard to say Shanny dropped the ball based on the reaction of a player in the absolute most heated and tense moment of a train wreck of a game. If there is a video that shows the kick clearly and you see the motion and the contact, i'm right with you.
On a related note, the captain of the Ottawa 67's just got suspended for kicking as well and I'm 100% onboard with suspending him. The idea of kicking in hockey is completely unacceptable to me so in that instance, where I clearly see him give a player a nudge with his skate, regardless of what the result is, I want him suspended. If I saw it in thie video, I'd say the same thing, I just don't. |

Looked like he tried to kick him twice. Couldn't see the second one other than the movement of girardi's leg and his reaction. could be wrong though. tough to see on NBC feed |
