✔@darrenrovell Game 6 of Rangers/Senators gets a 4.27 overnight rating on MSG, highest rating since Game 3 of the EC Semis vs. Devils in 1997. - jimbro83

Not sure if you saw it, but when the game ended, Lundqvist actually went up to the camera guy and looked like he yelled at him as well. I mean the anger last night was a level I haven't seen in a long time. When the players are even mad at the people responsible for the broadcast, its also a sign that this just wasn't a good experience. - Lohaus
Yea at first I thought he was gloating like some NBA player getting face time in the camera and thought it was weird as he never does that.. Just a weird game. |

Francesa on YES just showed a close up on Hank's glove, he has his glove over the puck and Neil's skate, the glove is not moving and the puck comes shooting out, common sense is really lacking in Toronto, I didn't realize they had this overhead zoom |

He was so mad that I thought if Ottawa tied it, he would not have been able to refocus for the overtime, he was that kind of beside himself. |

I laughed when they showed the replay because I said if thats not a kick I dont know what is...
And any Sens fans that were at the game, correct me if I am wrong but you could hear the crowd kinda get quiet and have a weird tone to it when they showed the replay in the arena as if they all knew it wasn't a goal; or was that just me? Cause I am telling you if script were reversed first time they show that replay I'd throw something going (frank) thats gonna get overturned. |

...and thats really the main point from my initial rant about this debacle of a game. If the Sens did score with seconds left and won in OT, I'd still be pissed off right now. More than that though, if the top team in the conference was elminated by such a dumb play that not only was a penalty, but shouldn't have counted anyways, I'm not sure how the NHL could justify it. Those two clowns shouldn't see another game this playoff. Such a terrible side show of a game. |

This first replay they showed was terrible, and the fans kind of did a half cheer. When they showed the one that is completely conclusive (imo), pretty much everyone in my section was of th eopinion it wasn't going to count. Clearly a kick, clearly Lundqvist was shuffle boarded to the side by Neil. When the ref came out, his mic was off, he talked, then went back to the box, and then turned and pointed to center. The crowd cheered, of course, but I just shook my head. My friend said to me "of course they made that call, they've been wrong all night!"
Sad state of affairs. |

It is beyond me that they absolutely need to see the skate touch the puck in order to reverse that call, that is just absolutely moronic. The bottom line is unless Newton's Laws of Motion were violated, that puck was kicked in. That's enough conclusive evidence to overturn a call. To say otherwise is just plain foolish. Nothing else, other than neil's skate, could have touched that puck to make it speed up like that. |

...similar to that, when a goalie catches the puck and his glove is in the net... but one cannot see the puck. Maybe it is in the glove, maybe it isn't? I find common sense is often a good way to evaluate things like that and a puck that spontaneously decides to move towards the net. |

Yeah, Neil got popped and acted like a kid. Richards also got hit in the first and did a baseball swing and miss as well. I just chalk it up to an emotional game filled with a large dose of nonsense. - Lohaus
This one was very far away from the play and it was .....Neil, of course. And well after the whistle. I wouldn't compare them. |

I saw the replay today on MSG and it was right after he cursed the refs. I think he said "sorry kids" at the camera on the ice. At least that's how I heard it. |

I was surprised Richards didn't get a call, was a potentially dangerous play, glad he missed lol |

Prust got away with laying out Karlsson after the whistle so I wasn't expecting anything there, when Neil took out his legs though I was screaming at the TV. |

I think Prust actually let up a bit too, could have been very ugly there |

The difference between these respective reactions is that Neil is a hypocrite and got a little dose of his own medicine. Richards was fed up with Neil's bs and took a swipe.
Essentially, Neil needs to be able to take his hit like a man instead of the toothless b!tch he is |

That's whats so maddening. They don't call Prust for the late hard hit on Karlson(which they shouldn't in a perfect world), but call Rupp for a very weak rough that led to the 1st goal. |

Prust really showed up last night, hitting everyone & going with Neil in that spot, had to be done. |

Between shameful Shanahan and the new low on and off-ice officiating has sunken to, a clean sweep is needed. Just get rid of everyone involved and start fresh.
My little league refs would do a better job than these hacks have done.
