Morning all, has heart rate returned to normal? Hope to have blog up around lunch time, adapting to driving daily and lack of time on the train

If only the Rangers stood up to Neil earlier in the series. Funny how this toothless thug finally answers Prust's request to fight and the Rangers rallied around it.

I was actually hoping Neil was seriously injured when Del Zotto caught him.

It's not even close that Neil has become the most hated player in my eyes. Scumbag is putting it mildly.

No matter how you spell it, Neals are unpopular this post season.

It had to be said, someone had to say it. The fact those fans cried about the officials was completely absurd and hypocritical if you ask me.

That's pretty bad. Although if i were to guess i'd say it was the least watched series of all 8.

If I had a days notice I would just go! It is cheaper than a lot of other things I can be doing If I were a Devil fan I'd actually go broke. Cause I'd see tickets like that all the time and be like "How can I NOT go for $40!"

Meanwhile I was looking at StubHub for Game 7... Cheapest seats are $235 and pretty sure they are obstructed view :/

James Neal being a dirty player threw me off guard. I guess the fact he is a good goal scorer made it very surprising he is as scummy as he is.

This Neil in Ottawa has always been the type of player I despise. And for a really strange reason he gets away with so much.

Guy can dish it out but seemingly can't take it. Crying about getting rocked by Del Zotto and then threatening to pay Del Zotto back. What a piece of trash he is

the officiating in this entire series and frankly this whole season has been a complete joke..every game there is a team getting franked over..its embarrassing for the NHL at this point

And anyone have any idea what Torts was refrring to about the team's protrayal? Is he calling out a Canadian publication for something? I'm curious or is he just making up bulletin board material for his boys?

My biggest complaint was that they called it too tight but then you can also say it was relatively consistent because they called it tight both ways. And they missed stuff both ways too. I would just rather in an important game with lots of emotion that they let some of the stuff go. They called every border line penalty last night. Ruins the flow of the game IMO.

I hope you dont think the Sens were getting f'd over with the officiating, because we were on the PK 7 times that game. Just cause we made them count doesnt mean some of those calls werent justified. Two I can think of off the top of my head that werent called... Neil sticking out his skate and tripping Richards, and Prust getting cross checked in front of the net - a call the Sens got, but we did not. And I know, youll argue, what about Karlsson getting drilled after the whistle by Prust? In some ref's eyes, that would have been a roughing, and I wouldnt have argued it.

Granted, the officiating has sucked majorly all over the NHL.

Ruins the flow, and it takes the game completely away from the players. 11 penalties called... way too damn many.

As I stated in the other thread, the refs and league botched pretty much everything they could last night. It was one of the worst games I have attended because of the officiating was shameful to even watch. When everyone involved on both sides of the fence... fans, players, coaches... everyone is pissed off, you knew something was wrong. I've never seen Alfie act that way in a game, I've never seen Lundqvist so angry. The game was ridiculous. Like I said, no one should look at that game and be happy with what went down.

I don't care who won or lost the game, it was a crock and I was so jacked to go last night... what a let down.

If you think it was fine and I'm just being a poor loser then ask yourself if the Sens scored with seconds left to tie it up, and then won in OT, what would the take be? Oh well?

Horsepoop. This place would have erupted because of the skewer job Lundqvist got and the missed kick of Neil. How anyone can justify that is beyond me.

From the start to finish, it was a sham, a waste of money to attend. I spent so much time watching the refs reactions to pretty much anything that occured that I missed half the game. You could have had a drinking game on what they'd call and what they wouldn't. Ridiculous.

Hopefully game 7 is an actual game because if it is more like game 6, th NHL clearly doesn't want people to watch their product.

The roughing calls on Rupp, Smith and Kuba were utter nonsense, I thought there were actual non calls that were more blatant than the ones that were called.
