Michalek is looking at a potential suspension for kicking at Girardi during, what should have been, Neil's disallowed kicked in goal.

He'll probably just get a fine because Girardi wasn't hurt. That piece of garbage Shanahan will find a way to not suspend him, guarantee

clip of the incident? source saying he's looking at a suspension? any proof that it actually happened?

why didn't Ottawa keep Mark Stone in the lineup?

that was dumb, he was pretty much their best player in game 5

It's comical to hear the hypocrisy, did you like the taste? Neil is a scum bag who represents your team, how he gets away with spearing Hank out of the crease is amazing, the refs let that clown get away with everything. Game 7 is gonna be fun, we figured some things out.....uh oh!

literally every sens fan was fine with the hit...i havent seen any whining or complaining..and frankly most all sens fans agreed that goal was kicked in..that was just a weird call where they couldnt 100% see that neils actually touched the puck...but whatever you still won so who cares....

your an angry angry man...even when the rangers win!

i dont think he was our best player...he made a great pass for the goal but definitely had some issues with the speed (his biggest flaw)...but ya maclean doesnt normally change a winning line up...will be interesting to see what happens for game 7..silvferberg has a ton of talent but looked a little lost..

haha I can see that...every team has someone that makes other fan bases want to punch someone...thats just hockey...i think Neil was legit caught off guard with that hit and it knocked the wind out of him..he caught him totally not paying attention...but he can take it as good as he gives it out so its all good....im sure you dont see it at all but there are rangers players running as well..it happens..all part of the game...no complaints from me though, nothing happened last night that Isnt just part of hockey!

off to game 7!!!!!

If you look at Girardi at the tail end he reacted to something Michalek did. Did he kick him, who knows? I am sure there is another angle somewhere that the NHL may use to review the play. But to be fair, from the angle here you can't really see what happens. If he did kick him, precedent has been set for that kind of thing and has been subjected to supplemental discipline in the past. I really don't care if Michalek plays or not, it doesn't matter, if the Rangers played the way they did last night at home, they will win, when the Rangers play like that Ottawa doesn't have an answer. Pressure is funny, both teams were under pressure last night, Ottawa was b/c it had a chance to finsh the series and obviously the Rangers were, one team responded the other wilted. The pressure increases now for both teams as we go into Thursday.

Can't watch Neil getting lit up by DZ enough, finally that puke gets some of his own medicine then whines about it on the bench, calls it a head shot and threatens DZ. That puck is there, PPOC is the chest and he didn't leave his feet, plus that faker stayed in the game, that was how the haters described his hit on Boyle, I wanna see the reverse crying now.
- HankdaTank

I lost a lot of respect if there was any left for Neil with how he handled the hit by DZ. The guy makes a living out of throwing that same hit time & time again. So once out of every 10 hits he's a part of he's on the other end & he b!tches like he did to the refs, throws a continued temper tamtrum on the bench & still is yapping about it postgame. Paybacks a b!tch Chris, get some!

Gotta say, you are one of the best Sens posters, very fair. It will be an epic Game 7 on Thursday, high drama again I'm sure.

IMHO Prust vs Neil is a mismatch. Pruster 6" / 192 lbs , Neil 6,1" / 215 lbs.
Next time I want to see Repper kicking Neil's a$$.

BTW, any idea why Rupper has so little ice time? Is he injured?

Not sure about our best player but he did make a nice pass to Spezza for the goal. The problem with Stone is that he's slower than molasses and therefore a potential liability. Personally, for game 7, I put Alfredsson back with Spezza and Michalek and reinsert Bobby Butler on the line with Foligno and Turris. Those three seem to have some chemistry together. Silverberg had "deer in the headlights" syndrome after he got it a couple of times and challenged Scott Hartnell for his title considering the amount of times he fell.

I watched the Girardi incident something happened, can't tell what. Now The view from inside the net shows Neil kick at the puck. He just nicked it as Hank tried to put his glove on it. Hanks glove never touched the puck.

Larry Brooks reported that a possible suspension could be in the future for Michalek for that post-goal scrum in the crease.

If Michalek did kick at him and it is caught by the cameras, he is as good as gone for Game 7

Plenty of precedent for that and the league doesn't have to do anything today bc of the extra day off but again if we play at the level we played at last night Ottawa can't touch us

Neil took a good hit from DZ. He's been running around taking shots at MCD, DZ Staal all series. It was about time he answered the bell with Prust. He didn't answer the first time Prust wanted to go so Prust skated away instead of Carknering him. That's how the code really works. Turning point of the game IMO. Good job by #8

What was with Alfie after he took that hit from ? can't remember. he went ape poop with the stick. Kind of dangerous to break your stick on the boards by the bench.

hmm it will be interesting I guess...i honestly dont see anything there...girardi flattens michalek as the goal happens and then it just looks like hes reacting to it actually being called a goal...i guess we would have to see another angle to see if anything actually happens..im not sure how michalek could actually kick girardi since girardi was on top of him for most of that scrum....but ya cant tell either way...i would think if that actually happened there would be a lot more talk about it..i havent heard a thing about it other than on here..

ya he lost his poop because maclean pulled him off the power play and ended up benching him spezza and michalek for like 6 minutes of the 3rd...because they were kind of a lot useless....frustration boiled over I guess...Sens played not a great game and then it became the Tim Peel show midway through the second...i have no idea how that guy still has a job in the NHL...almost every single penalty that was called last night was garbage

Can't recall why he reacted like that either, but he showed a rare fit of emotion there.
