It would make sense to build a new Islanders coliseum in Queens next to Citifield stadium. At least we could get rid of those tires stores out of the way. It is a perfect destination for Islanders fans from NYC and Nassau and Suffolk. Of course it would be far for me but at least it is not out of New York.

listen, if there is going to be a new arena in Queens, along with the one in Brooklyn, the one in Newark, the IZOD center, and of course, MSG, some new quality bands are going to have to start coming out.

Nickelback can't play 365 days a year in NYC.

Hopefully the team will still be at NVMC and they can have more parades down the pike. I dont recall the start to finish point.. my dad & i stood between the main gate to the Coli & exit ramp from the Wantagh.

I disagree with this statement for this whole time he's owned them he's done very little to try to turn the islanders into a profitable team and if fact has done more of the opposite.

He has however bought an NHL club with hopes to build a mini city

2 - The crime rate in your city is compared to Detroit. Atta boy!

3 - Your fans chase your young superstar (E. Kane) around the grocery store and call him soft.

4 - it's Butch Gorings home town.
