It amazes me how much offense people take to these blogs. They're far from perfect, but why do so many people care about spelling errors, etc.? Half of these posters couldn't spell their way out of a paper bag, nor do (most of them) have the balls to put their opinions on the line. What a waste of time these complaints are, and they happen every day. Thanks for diluting the site for those who actually came here to talk about hockey.

It's not like you complained about your toes being stepped on as the Ottawa blogger, you complained about the spelling errors. If you're putting out quality material, (and I'll give you credit, you usually do) then the hits will come. Making money off of a site formed by a collection of blogs/bloggers (if you get paid by # of comments) is like fishing in a barrel. If you just want to make more money, then get competitive and post new blogs all day long. If you're interested in providing thought-provoking material and boost a (choke) *journalism* resume, then make that your focus. Regardless, the guy NEVER retorts, and the shots keep coming.

As much fun as it is to bring up the inferiority complex many Canadians exhibit (if it weren't for them, Buffalo would be #1 in North America), from my experience, this whole notion that Canadians root for other Canadian teams isn't really that true. There are fans that think that way, but it's largely overblown. It's kind of like the Buffalo-Toronto "rivalry". Buffalo fans hate Toronto for a variety of reasons (proximity, fan takeover at home games, etc.), but it's so one-sided. Most Toronto fans I've ever talked to would take losing to Buffalo 6 times a year if it meant they got to beat Montreal 6 times a year.

I gave up in 2007 when he said that Sekera moving up and (in his mind), eventually supplanting Henrik Tallinder was just like Trent Edwards taking over the starting quarterback job from JP Losman.

That is yet to be seen. They have never put the fans in Canada is a position to make that choice in my lifetime. I was born in 1980.
