Now believed it's a fake account on twitter...he's at practice. We'll see. I want the Sens to beat Lundqvist anyways...don't want Rangers fans making a billion excuses instead of a million. |

tortellini not gonna be happy! go sens go ! - roydion3
With one of his top scorers out with a concussion, how CAN they win?
Get ready for a post-game whining session complete with blame-shifting and accusations of unfair treatment sprinkled on top. League fines to follow.
For everyone who forgot, Gaborik has always been a no show for the playoffs. $7.5 Mil a year and he only plays October thru March. Richards @ $6.7Mil hasn't offered much either. So much for the theory of veteran leadership coming through in the playoffs. On the bright side....Wade Redden assisted on the OT goal for the Whale to advance to the next round of Calder Cup Playoffs. At least HE's earning his $6+Mil salary. |

IMO one of the biggest surprises in the playoffs thus far is how well the Panthers powerplay has played against a record setting Devils PK. |

Have to go with my boys tonite. Go Rangers. Henrik will show the league why he is the best tonite.
1-0 Rangers - pfun1000
Lundqvist has nothing to prove. He's played better(as usual) than the rest of his team. Maybe if he can get a few shots on goal he COULD win it for them...but he's never been one of the better shooting goaltenders in the league. |

Hi Ek,
Will Mike and Ken be taking the rest of the summer off? It would be nice for a blogger to talk Leaf or the Marlies.
Nice to see our farm system doing so well. |

I guess you can say the same about yashin, he helps the isles reach the minimum. What's the over/under on amount of games Dipietro plays next year? |

i wonder if they are going to close loopholes like that in the next CBA
whats your gut feeling for your game tonight?
we know lundqvist is going to be solid, thats not what you need to worry about, but anderson has shown he can steal a game and your offense hasnt been lighting it up and finishing some very good chances
kinda like my devils |

Eklund: Alfie in for Sens. So Who Wins Tonight? - Eklund
IMO, Alfie coming back doesn't give the Sens any type of advantage for the rest of the series. The Sens have been winning these games because of 3rd or 4th line guys like Zenon Kenopka who got scratched for the first game, and then played a major role in winning games for the Sens by winning an absurd amount of faceoffs. Their lower line guys are getting it done. The Ranger's guys like Fedotenko, Prust, Mitchell, etc are not. With Alfie playing in Game 1, the Rangers killed the Senators and he still can't be feeling 100% after that hit to his head with the amount of concussion history that he has. Just my opinion, great series tho. Can't wait for tonight. Let's Go Rangers! |

I'm one Sens fan that is not thrilled about them playing Silfverberg. The guy has never played a game in North America and just flew in from Sweden yesterday.
To me, game 6 of the playoffs while you are jet-lagged is not the ideal spot to throw a kid in for his first ever NHL game. - maaddmike
I agree, let him at least get a few practices under his belt and maybe watch this one to gain some rest as well as perspective on the differences of the NHL playoffs to the SEL.
Also I think Mark Stone deserves to play a second game after making that beauty pass on his first NHL shift
Oh well, I don't pretend to know more than the Paulrus, and Silfverberg is bringing over that winning spirit |
