kipper has been unbeatable this postseason, perfect numbers
i cant believe this holtby kid, outplaying thomas
brodeur needs to step up but the offense needs to (frank)ing score
bryz was lucky the pens D and fleury were out of sync, may have been the worst goalie duo in history? bryz wasnt that strong either |

I haven't watched a Senators home game since that practise started... Really looking forward to hearing it for the first time tonight... With Alfie's return, I expect the 'Bank to be off the hook! |

Alfie is in...
It appears Silfverberg is also in as he left the ice with the regulars and Stone stayed out with the black aces |

Fleury was off and the Flyers are very good offensively, lethal combination. I hope other teams keep thinking it was all a bad Pens performance as opposed to a potent Flyers offense.
Fk Thomas. Back to being an average goalie soon to retire. Take away Chara and he's in his bunker crying about a black president.
It's a shame to see the Brodeur era coming to an end. Best goalie ever imo. |

It's a shame to see the Brodeur era coming to an end. Best goalie ever imo. - wolfhounds Its always sad to see the truly great ones get older. Even players we, as fans, might have always been up against and built a healthy dislike for, its still a sad reality of sports... and life I guess. Brodeur, in my opinion, is the greatest goalie of all time. Even if someone doesn't believe so, he's at least in the conversation.

the way the flyers played they would have won the series anyway, but when you guys play a team that has a goalie that is playing with confidence and stopping pucks more than letting them through with a defense that is more capable say the rangers or bruins it will be a closer series, those two teams really know how to limit chances, but you cant feel like bryz won the series, just that he didnt poop the bed as much as fleury, he is still a ? |

Captain Giroux.. he earned the title. - niteislander
Giroux gets my vote for mvp and I would take him anyday over Crosby or Malkin. No disrespect to Crosby or Malkin as they are superstars. Giroux is simply the best offensive and defensive hockey player in the league. He is deadly on faceoffs, plays physical, tough as hell and a threat every shift and plays huge minutes. He is amazing to watch. |

2011-2012, I do not live in the past. I am saying if it came down to a Flyers/Devs playoff round this year the Devs will be toast. Flyers have too much jump.
If Stevens was still around that would change things but he is long retired. |

I agree with that because he really seems to lack confidence at time and relies on his big body to stop pucks. He is a rebound machine and really does not move well side to side. Bob has great lateral movement but seems to have lost all his confidence. So nothing has really changed as goaltending is still very suspect despite spending all that money on the Bryzman. |

The Bruins are the only team that can stop the flyers this year in the east and hopefully the Caps will take care of that in game 7. Somethng about the two styles of play that seems to bring out the best in the ugly B's and the worst in my Flyers. |

Agreed on all points. The only thing I would add, the difference from this year to last, is that we actually have 2 very good goalies with a lot of skill and potential (Bob), they just seem a little off, kinda like Fleury.
Why do goalies have to be so mental?! |
