I saw a tweet earlier that said Couturier should block the stage when Malkin goes to accept the Hart Trophy.

A playoff series against a team like Pittsburgh, and to win it, really accelerates the growth of the kids.

Did you see Sedin get behind him on the only goal of the game thus far?
- PLindbergh31

Thats insane.

At the time, there were only a handful of pro athletes that had diabetes. One was former Phillies outfielder Bill Nicholson. Clarke's condition terrified teams.

Couturier simply amazes me. Always in the right position, always makes the simple play, cool as a cucumber, he's a 10 yr veteran in the body of a teenager is the best way to describe him.

I'll be surprised if Van wins this ... LA just looks like a better team.

The vision to get into position to intercept that Malkin pass to Kunitz was incredible. Kid's got smarts.

I was at a birthday party, and when he made that read I was screaming like one of the kids...

One of the kid's dad's was a transplanted Pens fan, and he was a good guy. Out of respect I didn't even do the nekkid fat man dance on the lawn.

I watched that in bewilderment that he anticipated that play. As it was developing it looked like Malkin had made a world class pass to spring Kunitz on a breakaway. I bet when he got to the bench he muttered to himself in Russian, WTF with this kid...

As an object in his rearview mirror, getting smaller and smaller.

Yup, and Schenn too. He had some great moments in this series. It's amazing the talent that is stockpiled here. Credit to Homer

I'd love to see Couturier's offense approach Malkin's, and for him to avoid becoming as chippy as Malkin is when frustrated.

A lot of people seem to forget the put up triple digit (yes....TRIPLE) point totals Juniors....I believe the Q.

The kid, at 19 years old, is ALREADY one of the top 10 shut down forwards in the league. And with the offensive potential just waiting to be tapped....

Homer....you robbed the NHL

That play may have been bigger than any save Bryzgalov made today.

Out of respect to a decent Pens fan, or the fact that you don't know any of the local cops anymore?
