I know this is getting ahead but do they give the C to Roo next year or give it to someone like Kimmo, Briere, or Mad max for a one or two? I'm assuming Pronger is done. I know the team seems to follow Roo, but might give him another year without all the pressure.

This is no different from the talk before the playoffs of who anyone wanted the Flyers to play. They play who they play. And make no mistake about it. Whoever they play it is going to be tough and challenging. So it really doesn't matter.

If I told people at the beginning of this season the Flyers would beat the Penguins, without Pronger and two other of their top six defensemen, people would have called me an idiot. Well they do that anyway, but you get my point.

For this team to do what they did in this series is big and I don't think the fanbase as a whole has grasped the total accomplishment yet.

This team found itself in the last two games. If they play like that the rest of the way,even though they lost game 5, I see great things coming. For Giroux to tell the team he's gonna have a big first shift then go out there, level Crosby and score that goal, that's the mark of a champion.

Totally agree, but I have grasped it.. HUGE series win. NOONE gave this team even a fighting chance to win. Win it in 6. Big statement and this team really has a great future.
