Flyers negated any questions about Bryz by playing a magnificent defensive game. If he can get his head on straight, they will be a tough out. Later.

and so was the crowd. sorry, but they were weak this afternoon. real weak.

I'd have to get that info from someone who was at the game. I've been to playoff games and it seems pretty loud when at the stadium. Just not sure it translates that well to TV.

There was never at any point, any real doubt that the Flyers were going to win this Series. On to the next round.

what a smart, simple, fantastic effort today. they had some soft clearing attempts and got pinned in a bit, but they kept everything to the outside.

giroux is the (frank)ing man. snaggle-tooth ginger. hand him the "c".

I sew the C on his sweater before Round 2.

Congrats to Giroux for getting the most posts in franchise history in a playoff series.

there were very noticeable times when the crowd stepped up and chanted - but they were few and far in between - it was very quiet, and seemed like a regular season game today.

Roo is awesome. Could you ask for a better start to a game. Big hit on Crosby then a goal.

Also mad Max is the man. Homer did a great job getting him, he is just such an important player for this team.

absolutely the best game at the best time

Is Couturier never not in the right position, or make the play that needs be made? It amazes me he's only 19. He plays like a 10 year veteran.

It's a playoff Series against a top opponent. It was never going to be a sweep. The Pens are far too good of a team for that. I have to say I'm extremely disappointed in some of the fans, and the lack of support they showed. It made me laugh to read some of the comments. The Flyers were in control of this Series from game 1.

Best game as many have said. Now time to get our guys rested and ready for the next series. Bryz played well and if they can continue to play this way i think the flyers can beat anyone

I thought they were an intelligent crowd. They cheered when it was needed. And they sensed from the way the Flyers were playing, that the game was over well before the final horn. So that led to a lack of excitement down the stretch, until the final minute.

he was fan(frank)ingtastic. holmgren robbed the entire league, and especially howson.
