the only players this makes sense for is:
Vokoun
Brodeur
Parise
Semin
Nash
B. Jackman
Roszival
Wideman
Burke pulls a "Doug Wilson" !
Mind you I realize the an offer sheet is not in the equation, but maybe, in theory, if Burke offers either Brodeur and Parise enough money, maybe the Devil's can't afford both and Burke picks up one of them.
Could apply same strategy to Washington with Semin and Wideman |

Brodeur retires a devil.
No question. |

Why does it have to be this years 1st round pick?
The Columbus organization is a joke. We will fleece them. - IronMaidnick
Seriously, do I really have to explain why it has to be this year's pick? By the way, you're not trading with Calgary so do expect to fleece them. |

I'm assuming it's Parise and Nash. Just from all the jibber jabber about them over the last year. Maybe spend a bit more and instead of Parise go for Suter? |

I personally think they should keep him. But they handled the trade deadline so terribly with him, it might be best to part ways. I don't see him in Toronto though.
I like the idea here that Toronto could have Nash, Parise, and Kessel (if EKs dream comes true) but they still have no first line centre to get them the puck. - Gord_Wilson_2.0
Last I check St. louis was a good right wing set up man.. Also the Leafs were what... Top 10 in goals for? adding two good players improves that... whats with the notion that a talent stacked top line is better than balance throughout the squad? our second line center is pumping 30 goals... If Nash and Parise needed a center to be effective I would hardly call them stars. |

Suter and Weber will stay in Nashville, they will be buyer this summer after this year playoffs success, it's time to spend money. |

Typical Maple Leafs fan thinking they'll get all the best players via trade and free agency. |

Nash wont be in TO....Once the Sens finish off the Rangers they will make changes this summer and will overpay for Nash.. - Fruitcakenipple
sens aren't going to touch nash with a 10 foot pole. they will however make a solid offer for parise. |

i was simply countering your claim. the sens were in danger in the late 90's (when the dollar REALLY sucked) but have been perfectly fine since melnyk took over. not trying to start crap, just making a comment about your comment. we're still cool - sensarmy_11
I know.
I was just taking a jab at his jab.
It's all good. Bury the Rangers! |

ah yes, i could see that making more sense. not sure how the rags could possible afford nash though. columbus wont' take gaborik, and won't touch richard's contract at all.
Honestly, something tells me that nash is going to vancouver in exchange for luongo + |
