it is hard not to feel happy for ottawa. not to state the obvious, but totally didnt see this one coming. i figured this team was different than its previous ones that had a penchant for choking. they looked like the real deal.

The Rags aren't a great team. If not for King, they're no where near the 1st seed. He has to be perfect 'cause they struggle to score. Right now they've run into a red hot goalie and their PP is putrid. Not to mention, I think the Sens were 3 of 4 against them in the regular season.

OMG ... just saw Tort's meltdown on the Neil hit. It was blatant; it was a hit to the head ... the hit was similar to that of Raffi Torres' ... he is a repeat offender.

What a bunch of BS. Tort's - shut up. There was nothing wrong with that hit. It wasn't close to the Torres hit. He is beginning to sound alot like a group of people I know.

To review : Crosby is the only whiner. Tort is a competitor. His rants are just gamesmanship.

A Rangers first round exit would make for some epic reading on this site.

And the Flyers won't be advancing

- canadianpenfan

Yes, yes it would. The Flyers bunch here is pretty fatalistic, but in their core, they aren't bad. Most of the Rangers guys are just downright hostile. Nothing would make me happier (other than the Pens completing their comeback) than to see a first round exit for that bunch and their windbag coach.

So tired of his act. We may have the "whiny" superstars, but they have the whiny coach.

If Crosby wanted to make Giroux look bad, he should toss a few pucks into the stands for some kids in Philly.

Even better. It would be funny if he signed them too just for the icing on the cake.

I've yet to see proof of pucks thrown back from the crowd, but...

Going to Baltimore apparently to watch Pens game from a sports bar. Anyone have a clue of a hockey friendly bar there? I see Hudson St Stackhouse and Koopers claim to be hockey friendly. Anybody?

To be honest if both the Pens and the Rangers lost, I would laugh harder about the Rangers loss than I would mourn about the Penguins lost. The Pens loss would suck but the epic implosion of Ranger fans on hockeybuzz would be amazing.
