And knowing what he knows, what does he do for tomorrow? Dressing 6 d-men but playing 3 for most of the game is surely a recipe for disaster.

Maybe you spread your top 3 out over 3 pairs to spread the playing time around. Although its hard to not have that top go to pair to ride imo this would be a safe route to go. If the game ends up being tight you could always put the top pairing back together if there is a chance of winning.

if the league continues to let players head hunt and punch people in the back of the head (malkin would be a good example although it happens with others) head shots wont go away.

Thats good news of course, but that does not mean he will play. It means that he is upto experimenting. Alfredson even skated in the pregame warmups for game 3 and did not play in that game or the next one.

Lavy rolled the die with his big 3 last night and the next game is within 36 odd hours of the previous one. If they get to game 7, they will be toast mentally and physically. This is an elimination game for the Flyers.
