The Rangers have been a low-scoring team all year. But Anderson is in one of those "hot goalie" situations that defy comprehension. - bodiva88
What surprised me is how little Rangers generated in the last 5 mins. Anderson was almost nonchalant. Did you see the clear by him through traffic and out of the zone? That was Brodeuresque in his prime.
A Rangers fan was here a few days ago talking about how the free agents have really helped his team this year, after all the blanks of previous years. Right now, Richards and Gaborik have 3 points in 5 games each, with 1 goal, and each is a - player. |

Boy the stars are aligning for the Flyers or Pens to make a long run. I sure hope it's not the latter. These playoffs have been insane and highly entertaining. Not gonna lie but I enjoy the rats in Fla. |

After he was hurt in the 10th? |

I don't truly pay attention till babeball till after hockey season.
However, I like the Phillies and all but I like the Texas Rangers philosophy use under the Nolan Ryan do not use pitch counts.

It's incredibly far off. It's not the case under any circumstance. It's an off base, incorrect, statement whether it is abut one game or a career. - MJL
I'm not sure what you're basing your opinion on, but this authoritative thing you try to use is a bit comical, especially since you're debating the current worth of 2 of 6 d-men who combined played 14 minutes and 1 second in Game 5.
Gus played 2 minutes and 10 seconds less than Kubina and Lilja combined; Carle and Coburn individually had double their combined toi. |

if that happens, that will be 3 big markets out in the first round. i'm sure nbc won't be too happy. - hammarby31
If the Bruins and Rangers lose, the winner of Flyers/Pens has to be the odds-on favorite to take the east.
Could be a very interesting 2nd round. |

If he had a concussion, I doubt he's recovered by now. Let him heal for the 2nd round and let the players we do have dig in and get us there, especially Bryz. |

Well to do that they would have to spot us a 3 goal lead in game 7. Plus, they need to agree to play the game in Philly. - PT21
What? Why?? Coming back from 3-0 has only happened like 4 times in the history of sports. It doesn't matter where the event is or how it happened... |

I first remember the rats flying against the Pens in 96 IIRC...its one of the few great traditions they have.... |

I personally don't know how in good conscience the Flyers could put a guy out there who suffered a concussion earlier this week, especially considering the franchise's past history with this issue. I'm sure he wants to play, but someone has to be thinking about the long view here and the guys long term health, right? |

Because not only did we come back from 3 games down, we were down 3 goals in game 7, and it was in Boston. So, to steal our thunder in the history books, Pens have to make it as hard for themselves as we did. |

Today was just a step in the process, hopefully. Gotta start skating sometime and test the body's reaction. The fact that he went through 2 sessions is a good sign, in that he didn't have immediate symptoms as a result of the first one.
Of course, I'm no expert.
