Like Shanny ignoring malikin running around, good thing Philly guys are small and tough or there would be 25 games - MrPerfect316
Malkin does no wrong. The only way he will get suspended is if he cripples another player or a stretcher is needed. I didnt think he was a dirty player until I watched this series. Anyone who says he isnt a dirty player needs to get their eyes checked. |

PERFECTION - Yosimar89
I have doubts that he actually went around on the swing, but it doesn't matter.

Seems to me that a lot of the fans are bailing and jumping ship. A little adversity and there's all kinds of doubt. Thank God the Flyers themselves have a little more resolve and confidence. Were playing the Pens. Did anyone think they were gonna just lie down and quit? It's the playoffs. It's supposed to be hard. It's supposed to be a struggle. - MJL
I totally agree. Anyone who thought this series was going to be easy is out of their mind. Im actually happy with the position the Flyers are in because I figured they would be down 3-2 heading to a game six.
I cant wait to read the posts after tomorrows game, win or lose.
Loss- They stink and have no chance to win game seven
Win- This team is unreal and never quits |

None of this stuff is new with Malkin. He was pulling punches and late hits last season 2. I can't remember the player but I believe he pulled a clear cut dangerous hit against LA last season. I remember it was a Western team. |

If this gets to Game 7 it's going to be so nerve racking. I don't know if I could do it. |

He threw a dirty hit at Simmonds when the Kings were in Pittsburgh 3 years ago. |

That could be what I meant. I knew it was the Kings, I just couldn't remember the player. |

You nailed it. Game 4 in my mind was a disturbing loss but Game 5 was different. Fleury played well in the second half of the game and the Flyers threw what they could at him. Overall I felt the entire team had a very good game 5. Just a couple of mistakes and we paid for them. Better for these mistakes to happen while we're up in the series and not down. NBC more then likely didn't notice but I felt Bryzgalov played well also. If we can keep Kubina from blocking his vision, we're in good shape. |

Do you think the batter didn't think he went around, or didn't want to run to first and ruin a perfect game with a strikeout? Wonder if that's ever been done before?
Yankees with seven in the 7th, and seven in the 8th to erase a 9-0 deficit.
Crazy day for baseball. |

The sooner we realize that the flyers are finished. The sooner I can go back to resuming my normal life. See all is not lost. You said flyers would win game 5. What happened? |

Get real dude, don't look into that 3-0 poop. That's the only reason half of you guys are suicidal. The Flyers are up 3 games to 2 against the Penguins, going home for game 6. Flyers win at home in game 6, get ready for some handshakes.

Feel free to bail on the team and resume your normal life. Your dam right I said they would win game 5. And in the same situation I'd say the same every time. No regrets. I root for my team and stand by my team. And I will every time. I see no reason not to. Nor have they done anything to not deserve my support. If it gives you some satisfaction to call me on the fact that I stated that they would win game 5, then have at it. Enjoy it.

I'm not understanding the importance of being right or wrong when it comes to our favorite team getting past the first round at the expense of the Pittsburgh Penguins. I'm with you MJL. The Flyers haven't won a Cup since the mid 70's and I'm sure we all tell ourselves this is the year and for sometime we've all been wrong. Does this make us terrible people? |

We could possibly have the Kitties, Sens, Caps, and Flyers (they were underdogs) all move on to the next round in the EC.

it's all about perspective. And choice. You have two choices in looking at the situation. To think positive, or to think negatively. To whine about the injuries, and losing the last two games and woe is me. That's nonsense as far as I'm concerned. If you had told me that before the Series started, that the Flyers wold have a 3-2 lead going into game 6, I'd have said hell yeah, I'll take it. Raise your hand if you wouldn't have. And make no mistake about it. How you look at it, is a choice. |

Welcome aboard. There are two sides apparently. The believers and the non believers. I can't live or think in the negative. I'll believe until the Flyers are knocked out and in the hand shake line. And after that, I'll start believing in the great future I feel this team has.

My only real worry is being on the other side of the greatest come back in sports history. If the Pens do comeback, it will be like our 2010 comeback never happened because Crosby was able to do it. |

Look at what was in the future for the team that the Flyers came back against.

The Flyers are still in control of the series. They get another shot of closing this thing out. |

That's true. But dang look around. After tonight NY, Boston, Pitt, and NJ could all be facing elimination. What an opportunity. These playoffs have been amazing. |
