In my opinion it's not. The loss can clearly be pinned on the lack of 5 on 5 offense. As a team, they all should accept blame. But that's not what I'm talking about.

The lack of even strength scoring isn't AS important when your PP is 10 for 20 or whatever ridiculous number it is.

The Flyers can win this Series without getting them back. Grossmann is a good defenseman. But he is not the savior. And he is not that good that the Flyers can't win this Series without him. The odds would be better with them, that's for sure. But regardless of who is in the lineup, they simply have to win one more game in this Series. No reason whatsoever that they can't.

The Flyers can win this Series without getting them back. Grossmann is a good defenseman. But he is not the savior. And he is not that good that the Flyers can't win this Series without him. I saw someone say that Grossmann skated only with the Black Aces. That would be Meszaros. Grossman skated with both regulars and Blackaces.

Having Grossmann would help because it reduces the number of minutes for Carle, Coburn and Timonen.

That's what I'm saying. I think Philly should play with 7 D like we are. Even if that guy only gets 6 minutes it could make a big difference late in the 3rd.

Seems to me that a lot of the fans are bailing and jumping ship. A little adversity and there's all kinds of doubt. Thank God the Flyers themselves have a little more resolve and confidence. Were playing the Pens. Did anyone think they were gonna just lie down and quit? It's the playoffs. It's supposed to be hard. It's supposed to be a struggle.

This has been a season of the Pens openly talking about how dangerous head shots are because of the state of Sidney Crosby. Playoff Hockey my ass. The Pens are punching, taking shots after the whistle, pulling hair, targeting the head. I'm not going to be a baby blame the Refs for allowing them to get away with it because I thought they finally did a decent job in Game 5. Malkin was called for the most part. I'm not going to call for a suspension on Malkin because that's just me whining for help to have the Pens best player sit. I simply think Malkin should be fined. If they suspended Malkin today, it wouldn't matter because he's not even a repeat offender. The message won't get through. My god take a long look at Marc Savard, he will never be the same again at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins. We have to put these dirty players away tomorrow! Simple as that.
