I'll be the last to defend Malkin when it comes to perceived cheap shots. However on this one, Coots reaches for the puck right before contact and lowers his head level even more than it already was. We went through this exact hit on the receiving end with Letang earlier, except he wasn't OK after. I don't think this was one of the intentional cheap hits, like I thought the one on Grossman was.

Martin's healthy, and right where he should be. Not too sure about Lovejoy but I doubt he would be chosen to play over Despres or Strait right now. 2-0 with those guys in the line up, little stats like that play big mental roles in the playoffs.

That's the scariest part of a player coming back from a head injury, whether it's 2 games, or 2 years. But you just hope he isn't being rushed, or rushing himself.

Anytime. It's frustrating to see fans treating other fans differently because they're fans of our rivals. And the guys that come over and post regularly over here like you, ef, and gunner (i know theres a few more just cant remember) are always good to talk to. Personally I've never had an issue and its been fun. And yeah emotions are high right now... but thats no excuse to remove civility.
And it's definitly living up to the hype. Whether it ends tomorrow or tuesday (hopefully the former ) its been a great series. Maybe they'll give us another 5 ot game before its all over

Grossmann was in the ice with the Black Aces skating, not practicing. I still think he is doubtful for tomorrows game he was just seeing if any symptoms were coming back from just skating. Big difference between the two but still a step in the right direction

Not sure my blood pressure can take that. With these defenses and the offensive skill on the ice at all times I'm probably not in too much danger.

Sorry, but there's nothing subjective about viewing the way Rinaldo plays. For the amount of time on the ice he gets, the number of cheap, dumb things he does is staggering.
