interesting that staal was interviewed on the ice by piere afterwards, rather than crosby. i barely noticed him after the malkin hit. not sure what his TOI was.

Exactly. He's a competitor, Giroux is going to put the team on his back Sunday.

I wish he would have done it in game 4 or 5.

First and third periods were good tonight, unfortunately 40 minutes isn''t good enough to win road playoff games.

Fleury is horrible. Flyers didn't get the puck high when they needed to or they would have won in regulation. Dude flops around in the net like a fish (not that Bryz is any better).

40+ wins horrible?

Have to win game 6, Coburn, Timonen, and Carle will have nothing left in the tank for a game 7 after playing back to back games with close to 30 minutes of ice time.

Flyers need to get the puck deep because they control the game and Pittsburgh cant handle them. Thats going to be very important next game.

Carle played a solid game tonight. Flyers are essentially down to 3 dmen now.

Kubina is asolutely useless.

- PLindbergh31

Kubina is completely lost ...not really sure what happened to him once he got here

I thought the same thing then noticed he had 20:05 TOT. Surprising. He didn't seem to be on the ice that long.

He's got 11 points in 5 games, that's pretty good. Game 4 was a total washout from the entire team.

The few concerns going into game 6 are:

1. Has MAF righted the ship
2. Can the Flyers get anything from dmen 4-6
3. Can Bryzgalov play his best game of the series

Pretty harsh considering how he stoned the Flyers in the 3rd period. He anyone with any objectivity would say he was fantastic.

Before the series I thought itd be him and ratboy that would be the xfactors.......malkin and crosby will get theirs, but those 2 always seem to have big games vs philly....

Side Note: Sullivan is creeping up my players to dislike list, just looks like a deusche. Always in great position, but a deusche

maf was good tonight and handled the rebounds pretty well. he was the benefactor of some posts, bounces, quick whistles, and of course 2 failed elevated shots.
- hammarby31

Yeah. He was not lights out as everyone seems to be saying. There were a couple of very good saves, but nothing to be intimidated about as far as I could see.

He's been very disappointing since he's arrived. We could really use him to give us anything of value at this point. Hell, Gus played 5 more minutes that he did.
