- Bryz is terrible. At least 1 weak goal per game.
- Apparently it's ok for the Pens to trip and run a Flyers goalie.
- Malkin is one of the dirtiest players in the league.
- The Penguins are one of the dirtiest teams in the league.
- Best hit of the night: Malkin on Crosby. I hope it happens again.

How does Malkin not have a right to that ice? He is going right for the puck as couturier is. Cooter was just bent over.
- Just5

Puck was was forced down the boards to the corner when Malkin hit Coots. You're blind if you can't see Malkin getting ready to lay a hit. He wasn't turing up ice, as Neal somehow convinced Shanny of. He went after Coots and therefore got the right penalty called on him.

Malkin intiated contact on a player who didn;t have the puck. He set a pick, clear cut interference.

need a big third or else we have a series, which could be bad.......

We've had a series since the Pens scored their 5th goal Wednesday night.

3 minutes of ice time for JVR, that's below Rinaldo level

3 goals on 12 shots? Same piece of poop goaltending this franchise has got for the last 20+ years, only now they are paying through the nose for.

Make a (frank)ing save.

- PLindbergh31

2 perfect shots where the Goalie doesn't have much of a chance. Don't allow a 2 on 1, and cover the point which is basic defensive zone coverage.

Dude. Elbows were down but it's 5 light years away from the puck. You just cannot go around hitting players without the puck whenever you feel like it.
- rockychocbill

It was real close. Like malkin was waiting for an opportunity when couts was vulnerable

Can Coburn put a shot on net just once? The shot wide on purpose is getting old.

No there was no play on the puck. Couturier did not have the puck. It was a cheap shot all the way.

Shoulder to the head to a player who didn't have the puck. Intent to injure. Ask (frank)ing Grossmann about it.

Both players were going for the puck....the closest players to the puck.....I've seen plenty of contact rightfully so between players who dont actually possess the puck first let go.

I totally agree. Defense was not good that period.

i'll give staal credit there, but the frutibat goal was not top corner. it was 2-2.5ft off the ice. he didn't even really reach for it or move at all. he's got to stop 1 of those. hasn't been good enough.

Right to the ice? Are you serious? Does he have a right to run through Couturier to get to that puck. It's a penalty and a cheap shot.

It was pretty clear interference but it wasn't anywhere near the head...

Kennedy is unchecked and has all day to pick his spot and he hit the shot. That one isn't on Bryzgalov.

Neither one of them were going for the puck. The puck was headed into the corner and Coots was NOT in between Malkin and the puck. That is classic interference.

The whole Pens team are looking for that opportunity. They're trying to intimidate our young guys and unfortunately it's working.
