Nope. 1 period would be a feat with these 2 defenses/goalies.

I think this is a tough series for JVR to come back into.

Fast skating, hard hits... playoff hockey!

- nhindian

Well its a good thing that JvR can be physical, he would fit right in.

So I'm assuming Briere not practicing today was just him taking the morning off and he'll be playing?

More proof that Bettman is an idiot.

Actually I'm fine with most of what he said there outside of the Weber non-suspension stuff. Shanahan has been doing a "decent" job that misstep aside. Bettman is just standing behind him by saying that poop. The difference between a $2500 fine and a 1 game suspension this time of year is HUGE. For him to try and downplay that is just stoopid.

Sorry couldn't resist.

I think that 'one misstep' was a huge one in the grand scheme of things.

OK.

I knew there must be a logical explanation.

It would be great if the score is even after first 30 mins or so. Or at least not favoring the Pens by more than a 1 goal margin. The closer it gets to the end of the game, the more nervous they will get.

I agree. The other side of the coin is how nervous the Flyers will be in game 6 if there is one. Last chance to do it at home, 3-0 lead and all.

Not typically. I was in PB for Game 5 of that 2008 series. If I travel for games, have to pay my own transit and hotel, etc.

Interesting Bill. When he mentioned 285lbs I thought this was a 90 day fitness challenge. It's clear it's much more than that. Looking forward to hearing more.

While we are 'Just sayin...", imagine the media Richard riding that will follow in Pittsburgh completes the comeback.

Would Sid's glove swat be viewed as the turning point? I have a feeling the talking heads would look at it as such

Cooperalls take me back to my own hockey days as a youngster. I tucked them into my skates.

I had a pair for like 3-4 seasons too. I didn't tuck though.
