i just saw the replay of the backstrom match penalty and same play he was suspended for. that's a joke, he's a star player and it wasn't all that dirty if you ask me, he did it while facing the play, unlike asham on schenn. i thought it merited a 2 minute minor and no more. i've seen way worse go unpunished. this league is a joke when it comes to discipline. if backstrom got one for his cross check, malkin should get 2 for his elbow to the back of nick grossman's head, but he won't be disciplined at all. (frank) you brendan shanahan or whoever has their hand up your ass.

Okay good, I thought I was going crazy and was just seeing things. That was insane that they got all that extra time. I wonder what would have happened if they scored. I think I heard the time-keepers horn go off too, trying to get the refs attention, but the crowd was just so crazy loud.

I'm not trying to say Thomas has not been good for us, and I'm not trying to say the rest of your team has sucked balls, you're blocking a ton of shots and keeping us to the outside but I'm afraid that Holtby won you this game.

we had more quality scoring chances. 2 posts and a clear goal if not blocked by boychuk (chimmy one touch). Not sure what game you watched but holtby did not stand on his head. He saw every puck, slowed down the play and made the saves he needed to make from weak point shots and outside shooters.

did you read my entire comment ? It's not just my opinion

I'm guessing you haven't watched a lot of Bruins games, but I have seen this team score a lot more on a lot less chances, quality or not. A lot of times we just aren't getting to loose pucks. I can think of at least one time where if Marchand had just gone to the net he would have gotten the rebound for a sure goal but he just did a fly by instead. There was no red sweater anywhere near him and he just kept right on skating
