I had to rush my wife to the hospital. She got super-glue in her eye.

I almost glued my eyes shut midway through last nights embarrassment.

I agree that the Pens looked like a beaten team in the first few mins. If they had put up a decent effort in the 2nd pp they got, the game might well have been over. Instead they barely got the puck in the zone and on top of that lost Malkin as he emerged from the box.

I am not worried about the score or it having any effect on the psyche. I am much more worried about Bryzgalov, more so than Grossmann. To me the slow lateral movement is a bigger concern than the rebound control. And also the lack of reaction. I am not used to seeing that from Bryz.

As for Bob, everyone seems to know that a hard shot over his glove hand is more likely to go in than stay out. Even in shootouts you see players just letting it rip and not bothering to deke. Good luck trying to trade him for an asset with his performance this season.

Its just one game, and the attitude can be corrected. But if Bryz is playing through an injury and cannot move, then Leighton needs to play.

Whether I take that as a joke, the truth or if I replace super glue with something else....it's funny in every way.

Of course, it's only funny if she's actually ok. She ok?

No faith in Bobrovsky at all. He covered as much net last night as a termite. It's unfortunate Bryzgalov got a broken bone in his foot, before that he was playing his best hockey of the season. The injury is clearly hampering him, he's got a find a way to fight through it, and his teammates have to do a better job in front of him.
- PLindbergh31

All I'm gonna say about the goalie situation today is this,
would you guys rather the series be tied or in Pittsburgh's favor and Bryzgalov have a 2 gaa or be up like we are with his shoddy numbers? We are beating the cup favorite and probably the most offensively talented team in the league.

He is allowing goals he should stop. But he's also made some huge stops that could have been killer goals.

The other issue is, there's nobody else. Any faith that Bob would do better?

- Jsaquella

Every player on the team is accountable for last night's loss. Complacent etc.. Bryz AND Bob were bad, but so was everyone. There is no way I single out one player in a 10-3 loss.

lucky you, it was deadful (spelling intentional haha)
- GoFlyersGoSlovakia

Yea, I could tell that by the score. I saw the first period, but that was it. I didnt hear anything about Rinaldo other then Bill saying he shouldnt play again. What did he do? And I got Malkin and Kennedy both got Grossmann up high.. Is the league reviewing this, or dont we know yet...

Isn't it just pathetic that the Flyers orgaNIzation could not find a bona fide quality #1 goalie since Hextall?

I mean WTF???

Yea I mean the guy they have now didn't just set a franchise record for shutouts and isn't contributing in any fashion to them being up 3-1 in the series. yea bring back leighton boucher and co. and let's see where this series is.

IMO the Flyers are very capable of blowing this series, but they also have a good chance to win tomorrow. We'll see what happens

Obviously would take the 3-1 lead in the series, but I would love to see some solid defense and goaltending. That's how Cups are won. This up and down river hockey isn't going to cut it.

She is alive, and her eye sight wasnt effected, but she is in a lot of pain. She ripped about a dime sized hole on the side of her eyeball off. She had super-glue on her finger and wiped her eye. The glue bonded to the first few layers of eye-ball and tore it off. The layers underneath are swelled, and this happened at the worst possible time as she is in a time crunch to finish a ton a school work.

I did not defend what Malkin did.

I asked about the evidence after that.

- icedog97

Have you seen any flyer try to take out crosby like what neal did to couts and giroux, or malkin on grossman or asham on schenn? The answer is no. 1 game suspension is a joke if you want curb this behavior.

or the fact that we're up 3-1 on a team that was supposed to smoke us like a cheap cigar and march to the cup.

I don't like it either but I think this is a byproduct of the match up. Injuries to both sides are compounding it.

I'd be thinking the hit was one that the rules allow to happen...the same way Letang got hit by Nystrom at the end of February. No penalty...no suspension.

But that's not what I asked...

- icedog97

I have no idea what you asked cause it wasn't a question directed to me but I just think hits like that need to be taken out of the game. doesn't matter if the ref missed it or not. a flying elbow to the head is not ok and if one was directed to Crosby, I highly doubt your attitude would be oh well.

Not fighting or starting trouble, just a question: How many times has a flyers player targeted a head of a Penguin? And how many times a Penguin a Flyer?
- Deasr1

I honestly have no idea.

I don't keep track or count.

I 'm not at the game so I can't see all of the stuff that goes on away from the camera.

I'm fine with the league suspending Malkin if they feel that's appropriate.

Given what I have seen from other similar incidents, it would surprise me.

I just don't agree with the idea that we are going to go after Giroux.

No question about it. The Grossmann injury hurts, I don't have a lot of faith in basically 4 of the 6 guys who will be dressed on defense Friday night.

When teams are getting beat bad they do stupid things, it's not like anyone has put a bounty on the mighty flyers heads.
